I love hockey. I have season tickets to our WHL club and have great seats right behind the goalie. You can always tell how good a goalie is going to be early in the season by how good their feet are. They can have quick hands, or track the puck well, but if their body is constantly out of position none of that matters. Same is true for offensive linemen. If they have to lean to one side or the other because their feet are slow, or use their reach because they don't move fast enough, a d lineman will rip right past them.

I don't either. This is why he should have been playing all year at LT. Erving sucked at the spot. We would already know what we have. The footwork is different, blocking schemes are different, pulling is involved, weight is different, it's just a different position.

Feet are everything to a lineman. If you don't have balance, it doesn't matter how long your arms are, you're going to get beat. Greg Little is a perfect example. His footwork was atrocious. Slater has quick feet and short(er) arms but he compensates because his balance is good and his technique is good. I just wish some people understood this.

Not a knock on him but why come here. Right now your QBs are Sam Darnold and PJ Walker. If we take a QB with the 6th we have no oline and Rhule may be out next year. It's just a bad situation to come to.

Please by all means tell us what Matt Rhule is doing to inspire confidence in all us Fairweather fans? Is it the 2-12 finish to the season after beating 3 really bad teams? Is it ending on a 7 game losing streak? Is it the plan that's working 1000% that led to firing his OC and still having the TEAM score less TDs than several QBs? How about being humiliated by the Giants and they are actually drafting ahead of us because they have a worse record? Is it signing PJ fuging Walker? Please. What has Matt Rhule done other than lead this team to a 10-23 record in 2 years, never beat any team of consequence, and deflect any sort of responsibility for what's happening that could lead anyone to think that this team doesn't stand a chance to be 0-17 and drafting 1st next year.

What exactly is there to be positive about? Nothing this organization is doing right now is moving in a positive direction.

He probably just wishes Cam would drop it. Kind of like Robby did all season.

You forgot How is going 2-12 after a 3-0 start the plan working 1000%? The rest of the world calls that the worst record in the NFL over that same period of time.

Only reason I remember it was I had him in a keeper league and I didn't keep him because it would cost me my 1st rd pick and then he tore up the league.

If you figure the average fan spends 60 bucks per at a game and the stadium holds 75k at a 20% cut just on those sales alone for 8 games at home there's Rhule's season salary. That doesn't even count all the extras. Keeping Rhule is going to cost Tepper a boatload of cash.

I'm sure Tepper gets a % of all the sales in BofA on game day. There's the licensing sales, marketing etc. Those numbers will dwarf Rhules contract and another season like this will end up in the same place and cost him a whole lot more. The only difference is fans won't be so willing to come back and spend their money for the next guy he hires.

General Custer was a great leader of men.. Leadership matters. So do results.

I'm starting to think Tepper is doing this on purpose so the Panthers always suck to get Charlotte excited about the other football. I don't think that will work out too well.

It can be fixed. Tiki Barber went from hands of Crisco to hands of glue after one offseason. Not saying I want to keep Sam, just that it can be done. Thanks fantasy football for useless facts stuck in my memory.

I'm jealous of the Lions. It's gotten that bad.

It's the longest winning streak in the NFL... for other teams.. against one team.

He thought BC was a guard which he clearly isn't. That was obvious in preseason. Brown was an insane draft value in the 6th if he could get his weight under control which he has. The only thing I can figure is he took the last of the ribs during lunch one days and pissed Matt off and has been benched almost all season because of it.

Imagine what DB could have done if he had gotten to play more than 1 game this year
