No i want to give the same time for judgment and development we given every coach… Most of us here wasn’t screaming fire Ron in the middle of his 2nd season.. For heaven sake Seifert got more then a year and a half.. And he wasn’t showing up for practice and locking his office to players..

Again you’re at fault in this because of your expectations.. We were a 5 win team last year.. For some reason I guess you expected this to be a fully form team the next and never lose games to lesser teams.. Which in reality no team is perfect and even the best teams are taking ass whipping to lesser teams this year… I don’t understand how you ppl have built this team up to never have a hiccup or to be this outrageously different team in 1 year when they were just picking top 10 in the draft 7 months ago… Belicheck got fired in Cleveland.. K almost got fire his 1st 3 years in Durham.. So the comparison are cool.. They stuck with the coach more then 1 and half years before making a judgment… maybe you need to go back and really look at the history of your favorite coaches…

Even with this opinion… Ron was us not playing 3rd and 21 right from letting us win again…lol

This season he has been on the basic fact Gilly hasn’t played but 4 games this season.. Jesus Christ don’t you have to play actual games and consistently face teams best wr option to count.. By your rationale Deion is the best cb in the league even thoe he hasn’t played in 10 years..lmao

Where do the stats agree with your opinion… Dallas gives up points so has Washington all season.. 11 games isn’t a small sample size.. And no matter how much you make excuses for other teams and move the goalpost back to make a point.. Reality is this team over a 11 game sample has been a top 5 defense..

Your best DB for most of this season has been Donte… Where are you not understanding that.. And you might want to check the snap counts before you come up with False facts… Pitts played more snaps in that Falcon game then Gilly did.. So it’s dam near impossible for Gilly to be the only person guarding Pitts..

And this ignoring the oline narrative needs to stop… They brought in 6 new Linemen (2 rookies, 4 vets) resigned their best Olinemen and the guard who play the best last year.. they didn’t ignore the position they just didn’t draft or sign the players you wanted them to…

So wait where is the thread.. Where you posted that this would be the 2nd ranked defense in the league?. Don’t worry I’ll wait.. I want to see that you knew a bunch of 1st 2nd year players and FA.. Would jell this quickly and play to a top 5 level…

A 9 and 8 or 8 and 9 team will make the playoffs this year.. So 2 more losses might be the breaking point..

What?. I saw him double teamed a few times yesterday.. He is putting up nearly the same numbers as Star did his 1st 2 season.. Nobody was calling him a bust.. And Brown is a different type of DT from Donald..

Because Gilly just admitted that now he’s ready for a bigger role.. He has been on a snap count since he got here because he wasn’t ready to play a full role..

So obviously they made some adjustments.. Which some ppl here won’t admit..

Let’s see if we can come to some semblance of a fair breakdown. easy exercise.. compare the roster at the end of 2019 to the roster now .. which is better.? Simple

Simple the defense improves faster then anybody expected and they made mistakes at QB.. But it's still not a regression if they win more games then the year before and other then Qb, and Oline most of the team has improved from the year before...

You name 1 position and call the whole thing a regression that's fair... But let's look at this thing in Reality... 2020 pamdiec season.. The defense is gone.. No Luke, No TD, No Irving, No healthy DT on the roster, No Secondary other then a often injured DJax... Qb position was a mystery because Cam hasn't been healthy since 2018... Oline sucked just as much back then... Wr corp was Cmac and DJ.. No Robby, no Marshall, No Zystra, No Smith GREG IS GONE.. The Roster only had DJ, Cmac, Burns, Shaq, and Donte to build from.. Compare that to the roster now?? Regression what??

That don't matter.. He can't be the best CB we've had on the field when he hasn't been on the field 9 out of 11 games...

But if he hasn't played all year how has he been the best cb that has played this year??

They did!!!! They went to a zone.. They move coverage over to Mcclarin.. They doubled him.. Then Washington started running the ball down our throats.. And other player in that offense started making plays.. They made adjustments it just didn't work I'm sorry..

Are you fuging serious?? Horn played 2 games.. Gillmore has been a part time player.. The player who has been consistently out there and playing is Djax.. And this team for 11 games has a top 5 ranked defense.. That has to mean something..

Well cool that's your belief.. But it isn't the reality.. Major difference is he has remained healthy which was his biggest issue.. So that is something that is different..
