  1. Oof. Our coaching staff are geniuses, let's trade draft picks for the upside that Darnold brings "never".
  2. I don't blame him he left the Jets stink to come here and him and Teddy produced his best season ever caught almost 100 balls and over a thousand yards. And then the Rhule and Brady decide to bring the Jets QB here and turn us into the Jets south.
  3. No keep him in there, why should Walker have to come do mop up duty for this show. If they want to take Darnold off the field start PJ period.
  4. Lol all the people crying about the thought of PJ starting, there you got your wish Darnold started and led us to 6 whole points thus far, (really the defense put us in position for 2 field-goals). Aren't we so lucky escaped that awful PJ offense
  5. Fat boy going down with the ship. He knows he screwed up with his Darnold reclamation project he has to protect that decision. PJ would have absolutely give us a better chance but we're not going to see it, probably until we've been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.
  6. I'm starting to hate Rhule, the sooner him and Brady and Darnold get out of Carolina the better this team will become.
  7. Defense gift the offense two drives and they can't do anything with it.
  8. Late to the show, had Darnold started looking worse than the rookie Mac Jones yet?
  9. Tragic all the way around for the loss of life and family affected and for the young man who made a terrible mistake.
  10. I was on the boards last season and one of those "few" Teddy supporters and that guy didn't have a chance on this board from set go. On one end you had the people who were disgruntled about how everything went down with Cam and they wasn't going to miss an opportunity to poo on Teddy, on the other end you had the guys who were ready to move on from Cam but wasn't quite sure Teddy was the long term guy and could point out to you all of his flaws. Now some of those same guys want us to exercise patience with an even worst quarterback.
  11. Only thing Sam is putting on the line is our chance to make the playoffs and we have a defense and enough offensive weapons to take us there.
  12. Whatever it is, it surely can't be his play on the football field these same guys were jumping up and down about Teddy's play last season, he wasn't afforded any of the excuses they are giving to Sam, same coaching staff, pretty much same receivers and offensive line.
  13. Sam's seems to have two reads, lock in on the 1st option and if he's not open, throw to the open DB.
  14. No the stats says he's inaccurate and holding on to the ball to long, and attempting to push the ball down the field even if it's the worst decision. Which has resulted in alot of short fields for our defense.
  15. Christian McCaffrey production the first 3 games probably has alot to do with it.
  16. In what realm is Sam doing better. Teddy was pressured 7% less probably due to being able to diagnose defenses better and get rid of the ball. Also would like to see the turnover ratio.
  17. Yes Haynes is one of our best rotational pass rushers, you think good teams like Tampa Bay trading good depth at key positions no they're stockpiling talent for a playoff run. But I guess all that is a moot point anyway with the options we have at QB, thanks to our brain trust.
  18. So I guess they don't believe a playoff run is viable since we're sellers.
  19. Yes I would put that group either 2 or 3 in my historic ranking.
  20. Looks like the last time was 2009 the league has definitely become more pass oriented since that time. So I think it's even more impressive what they have been able to do. No doubt this is the deepest talent pool we've ever had in the secondary.
  21. Are you sure? We're currently the #2 ranked defense and are #2 vs the pass. I don't recall us ever holding out opponents to under 200 yard passing a game like we doing statistically this season.
  22. Yea Teddy turned him into a complete receiver and not just an occasional deep threat.
  23. Sam Darnold completion percentage was 54.16% vs the Falcons, and alot of his supporters were ready to throw a parade for that performance. Not saying PJ is going to be great, but the drop off people keep mentioning is vastly being exaggerated. Darnold was able to extend drives against mostly with his legs, PJ can duplicate that type of game. We scored 19 points against the Falcon's bad defense. Our offense is pedestrian no matter who is under center, Sam or PJ.
  24. Pretty much. Ironic isn't it.
