Not sure how NO puts an offer together that comes anywhere close to ours, but it seems they have edged out the Panthers somehow. It sure seems like we will be the bridesmaids in this one, which may be a blessing in disguise in the long run. Who knows...

Most expect it to be settled by Wednesday. Teams need to know before free agency starts. I would expect something by early in the week.

You were sounding legit until the Monday press conference. No deals are official until Wednesday, so there would not be a PC on Monday.

I don't think we have anyone who is not replaceable. I would rather not lose CMC if I knew he was going to stay healthy, but we have seen how that goes.

Rivera was in a similar situation and survived (the first time anyway). We will see what Rhule has in year 3.

Rutgers and Baylor and brought those programs back from death. He will coach again in college and likely be very good there. The bitterness of his failures in the NFL clouds your judgement of him as a college coach.
