He did play multiple HS sports and played them WELL. he was a top baseball recruit too which isn’t really the norm anymore. Bryce for example spent every second from middle school forward in elite invite only qb camps. Darnold just didn’t have a lot of reps at qb when coming out of USC, then went to an awful situation, then went to another awful situation. But he was clearly putting it together at the end of 2022, that saints game not withstanding. im not saying 2023 panthers San darnold would be the same as he with the Vikings. I am saying rolling with the 2022 team absolutely has the panthers in a better position any way you look at it than the ongoing bryce disaster.
