  1. Chuba is better in the screen game and he’s the only way Bryce is picking up yards today.
  2. On that floater to Coker I think the defender was surprised he got there so early. Looked like he was going for a slap away then realized he was under the ball.
  3. Probably a more accurate version of who the panthers really are compared to the previous two games. A below average team that cannot score quickly without a busted defense that’s benefitted from the easiest early schedule in the league and is struggling with an 0-6 jets.
  4. You just saw what happened on two long passes. first was a hospital ball, second should have been picked. coaches have to call plays around Bryce.
  5. Yeah but he had multiple players who’d do it every time lol James Harrison was trying to murder people out there
  6. Last time we were scheduled to play Tyron he was nearly murdered by the chargers doctors before the game and Justin Herbert got his first start.
  7. Tight end was uncovered up the seam on third. you mean to tell me Rico is not actually the second coming of Adrian Peterson?
  8. If the panthers decide to make him play out the fourth year of his contract than he’d probably demand a trade or cut and refuse to play. his 2024 salary would be 1.1 mil without anything after that. He could get more than that on a two year backup deal. For example, Mac jones’ contract to be a backup is 2 years 8 million. He was much more productive as a stater than Bryce has ever been, but just to give a comparison point.
  9. I’m laughing at a Sellers fan pumping the brakes on cam comparisons because he’s too young to overcome Mike Shula. “it took cam two full seasons to overcome him. You can’t expect that from a college player.”
  10. Look up who’s offensive coordinator for South Carolina
  11. Penn state is 1000% percent hiring Matt Rhule and he might leave Nebraska mid season for it, record be damned
  12. He'll probably be fine this week against the Jets but yeah then things are gonna get real.
  13. I mentioned this in another thread but i'll restate it here. Keeping a wait and watch approach and passing on the 5th year option kinda makes sense like obliquely, but in practice neither the team or the player wants it. The player (and unions) doesn't want to risk injury a career ending injury in his 4th season when he could have at least another year locked up, and the team doesn't want to risk the player blowing up in their fourth year and holding them over a barrel in contract negotiations. If you're the QB and you're playing that well you obviously test the free agent market, and you'd probably be bitter about it as well. modern first round qb contracts are essentially 3 year deals with the option of an additional 2 to put downward pressure on contract extensions. You either pick up the 5th year, extend with a new contract, or move on. just sitting tight on the fourth year isn't a practical choice for any of the parties.
