  1. who gives a poo about the salary cap good lord you guys cheer for a team in the same division as the saints
  2. this is a good trade for both teams san fran is win now mode and don't know what they have moving forward at the QB position. if CMC stays healthy, Shanahan is just about the best coach he could have ended up with. Say the Panthers are competitive again in 2024, Stroud/Young/Whomever's 2nd year. CMC is 28, with god knows how much more tread on the tires. How good is he on that team? good haul of picks. First rounder wasn't on the table. They got a 2nd and 3rd for a RB with a terrible contract with a huge injury history in 2022. Most people upset on here have completely unrealistic expectations about what their players are worth. Unless you get Jim Irsay rolling on MDMA, you're not getting a 1st rounder. Fitterer did well on this. He tried to create a bidding war but the only two teams interested were short on firsts. good luck to CMC. Hope he wins the super bowl.
  3. assuming we go in with Terrace, Lavishka, Moore.. I don't think the answer to WR is to get younger. They need a veteran.
  4. if we're counting moving around on draft day with trades, his 2021 draft was fantastic. its unfortunate he didn't have the authority to overule matt rhule's wife. i think lavishka's going to be a good player. I think henderson is a good player who's getting picked on a lot. He's not as good as horn and that's not a slight on him. But now the whole secondary has fallen apart and the team is capsizing so who's to say how this will go. he got two picks for Dennis Allen which, hey, praise. Might just be churn but it's productive churn. he got a 6th for Bridgewater, which whatever. He got good value for Baker, and I still think that was the best move given the circumstances. But obviously the circumstances were bad and of their own making. only question is how much of that was rhule And gilmore was very good with us, come on. Reddick was signed to a one year contract
  5. the donte and robby contracts were terrible. this board was pretty mixed but overall negative on the donte contract. People here were mostly ecstatic for the Anderson contract tho.
  6. chiefs fans on another board think its burns.
  7. there were a ton of red flags about parsons, and he went into a perfect situation. Dallas is just letting him rush the qb and not worry about anything else. they've got a very good DC for him. I think Horn is the real deal, and it sucks because he got hurt his rookie year and it's just not as visible a position. I do not think Parsons would have anywhere near the success in carolina he would has had in dallas, and i don't think they would have been able to handle his personality here. Dallas historically doesn't have a problem with that. That's more a criticism of rhule though. I don't think dallas is going to keep this coaching staff around much longer so it'll be interesting to see how he keeps going.
  8. We traded for Gilmore as well. Sometimes things just work out. And making big moves for FA/trades out of nowhere has been Philly's MO for a while. Like yeah these moves looks good but lets not forget when Roseman did the same thing for Asomugha and it was a disaster because he was actually totally washed and no one realized it because he'd been on the raiders and teams were just throwing anywhere else for five years. Roseman is great, don't get me wrong, but that sword cuts both ways.
  9. yeah he's taking advantage of teams in bad situations (titans and saints) or making stupid decisions (giants), though its hard to fault where the giants currently are but that original bradberry contract was woof belichick made a career of fleecing al davis and i know it's not a popular opinion here, but i love the strategy of trading for young players that are underperforming.
  10. Just rewatching it now and he's regularly drawing an extra blocker. You learn a lot about players with seasons like this. Obviously as Panthers fans we have a lot of experience with these kinds of situations. I don't know if Brown will ever "live up" to his draft position, but he's definitely turned into an NFL caliber starter. And he's still out there playing hard for a worthless team.
  11. I will never forget, and I will never forgive. Knoxville Delonde Est
  12. And since the only flag flying higher in Tennessee right now than their piss orange V is the confederate battle flag, never forget Knoxville fought for the Union. Battle of Fort Sanders was a confederate army marching north from Chatt to capture the city. They failed, because the only thing Knoxville residents were better at than getting drunk was supporting Union troops.
  13. legit at dropping handoffs, throwing picks, and coming through with clutch phantom roughing the passer calls. Best Tennessee team since the Clinton administration and they still needed a last second FG, at home, at night, and flagrant referee assistance (most penalties of the Saban era) against the worst Alabama team since Johnny Manziel styled on them. The most notable thing about Hooker's performance last night was how obviously inferior to Bryce Young he is in all aspects of the game. Congrats to Vol Nation. They have a brief respite from the misery and banality of their every day lives. I'm happy for all the scared women in the Knoxville area who won't have to convince their friends and coworkers they "fell down the stairs" Saturday night. Georgia wins by fifty
  14. lmao the guy they got to talk nicely about him was the scrub tackle who's not worth a dime he was given
  15. i was drunk last night but everything i said was true
  16. all of his dirt is just the poo he hasn't gotten kicked out of the league for in the past.
  17. oh my god no hendon hooker is older than the volunteers head coach. He's beat up on garbage opponents. he's never won a game against a team worth a poo. his biggest win was last year, and that was just to stop their losing streak against the Commodores. That was a game he completed 10/18 passes for 150 yards. their biggest win this year, depending on who you cheer for, is either against a terrible florida team that beats them in Gainesville (or if their coach had kicked a damn xp), or against an LSU team coached by someone that couldn't win in the ACC. Tennessee is losing at least 3 of their next 4, including probably getting mercy ruled in Athens. Tennessee fans are absolutely disgusting, demented creatures and I dont want to know what motivates them. "oh fiz, you don't know anything about tennessee fans. you are so mean." bitch i went to grad school in knoxville. I've seen tennessee fans up close, in their natural environment, and i still don't understand what motives those pig people. i watched people refused entry to neyland stadium because they didn't know they had to leave their assault rifles in the car or that their children needed to have clothes on. i volunteered for the red cross and had to help carry dead bodies out of the stadium because an idiot got drunk and forgot to charge their LVAD. I saw people fall from the upper deck and land in the concourse ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. I WAS THERE WHEN THEY LOST TO GEORGIA STATE I WAS THERE WHEN THE MORMONS CELEBRATED ON THEIR FIELDS AND THE COPS HAD TO CLEAR THEIR FANS OUT OF THE STADIUM Knoxville is the worst city in a state that has Gatlinburg, AND I DID ROTATIONS AT LACONTE There are suburbs in Florida that are better college towns than Knoxville The women in Knoxville are average on their best day, married by 20 and obese by 22. The best beer is a North Carolina brewery that opened there out of pity. The best restaurant is an abomination of a sports bar that serves Sushi. Either that or a hot dog cart outside where a club used to be downtown which tbh is p good The zoo sucks too There's a reason they researched the nuclear bomb just outside of town; if they messed up and set it off, nothing of value would have been lost fug hendon hooker fug the tennessee volunteers fug Smokey fug 10 dollars to park on campus fug that shitty starbucks inside their library fug every single dipshit driving a King Ranch XL they're upside down on, on their way to their job working commercial insurance that their dad gave them with a bed without a scratch fug everything in turkey creek, especially that total wine that always tried to get me to buy Tower vodka instead of Tito's. NO ITS NOT THE SAME DARYL GET OUT OF MY WAY
  18. It’s hard to believe this is the same guy I watched carve up the panthers in Cleveland.
  19. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s burns. burns doesn’t have a new contract and DJ does.
