  1. Come on guys, it's a no brained he's coming back. Makes too much sense to not bring him back. Anytime now it will be made official
  2. I'm just waiting for the QB bubble to bust harder than the housing bubble burst. Sooner or later teams will get smart and realize they can win with guys like DA for a fraction of the cost and not have to handicap your entire team by signing one player north of 150 million, these QB contracts are just unsustainable
  3. My opinion is this, maybe I'm mistaken but this draft just seems weak overall, I've heard about 5-6 OTs that should be taken but none seem elite, esp at 25. This seems like the perfect draft to take a risk on a guy like DGB at 25. Is it just me or do none of the prospects this year scream sure fire starter/pro bowler? With how well Gman has been drafting in later rounds, I say take the risk and draft DGB and let Gman work his magic in other rounds
  4. So I totally butchere'd that title. It's suppose to be "Rivera has said countless times we would have drafted Wilson as backup, imagine the ripple effect." Evidently you can no longer edit titles. Sorry
  5. I know this isn't a news story, it's very slow news cycle this time of year so I thought I would post this because it's just fun. It's no secret that Ron has said we pretty much would have drafted Wilson to be Cam's backup of he was avaliable. Just imagine how huge that would have been and the ripple effect it would have had on the NFL. The landscape would have been entirely different. I mean DIFFERENT! I'm talking, Back To the Future 2, alternate 1985 with rich Biff different. Would have Wilson looked so good in camp and pre season would be have took Cam's place? Would we have traded Cam? Or would we have traded Wilson?! If so, to which team?! Without Wilson in Seattle do we win all three of our games against them the last three seasons thus altering the entire NFC rankings those years?! You have to admit, thinking about the million different outcomes is fun, what do you see being the likeliest outcome had we drafted Wilson?!
  6. Oh and you better believe if TD is one of the team captains that are lobbying for Hardy's return, Hardy will be back. Josh Norman saying he wants him back is one thing, but TD saying so is a completely different animal
  7. The Vikings are saying they would "welcome back" AP and I'm sorry, child abuse is waay more worse than domestic abuse, I am not downplaying domestic abuse at all but child abuse is just so much worse. If AP can be welcome back then Hardy should also
  8. Im quite suprised how many of you are cold to the idea of being Ginn back, its a no brainer he should be back, name one single player in FA that is as reliable as him in the return game that would come as cheap he would?! I would personally be ecstatic if we brought him back!
  9. Torrey Smith is a real possibility. Fills a need, consistent contributor, only 26, good solid WR but not quite good enough to demand a huge contract. Expect us to make a push for him. He seems right up our alley in terms financially and need and he's not a guy that will break the bank
  10. I am not ok with it, I'm simply saying that what comes of him not playing?! What gets fixed?
  11. As cold and cynical as it may sound, it just has to be said. Us NFL fans care about one thing and one thing only, WINNING! A look back at recent history shows that any blow to a organization's bottom line in terms of dollars due to one of the players off field issues. Call me cold but the ONLY thing I care about is my team winning period! A look back at recent history shows that fans just do not care about the trouble star players get into. Take the Ray Rice incident, while the media was calling for Ray Rice's head, Baltimore Ravens fans had a different opinion as sales of Ray Rice jerseys surged following the incident. Take Michael Vick, what he did was completely inhumane, while his image and jersey sales fell initially, he came back with a vengenance when he signed with the eagles and fans rallied behind him. Ben Roethlisberger? Same story, Ray Lewis?! He just went on to be the beat MLB of his generation and the face of that franchise for years, his charge? Oh just an accomplice to murder. I think we can all agree as Panther fans that we would give anything to follow in the footsteps of a team like the Ravens and their sustained success. Even our very own Greg Hardy, it was reported that a ton of people wearing Hardy's jersey to the following game following his suspension. So my question is this. If fans dont care, business is still good, whats the big deal?! Lets not pretend to be alter boys here. This is the NFL for me. I ONLY care about one thing and one thing only, WIN WIN WIN at all costs except for cheating. I love this team with a passion but im sorry, Jerry Richardson is a damn moron if Hardy is found not guilty and for not briniging him back. He is not cutthroat enough to be a good owner. He is just too wholesome
  12. Posted Today, 08:26 AM So a new precedent has been set, JR seems to now think being accused automatically equals being guilty. I just cannot comprehend the mindset of not brining him back on the cheap if he's found not guilty, players love him and want him back. This could have a big effect in the locker room. A beloved player in the locker room ownership has already deemed guilty before his trial. This might be one of the biggest mistakes this organization has made if found not guilty. Imagine if Baltimore let Ray Lewis walk to another team even though he was found not guilty and he was on trial for accessory to murder!! I really can't wait until we get new ownership. Look on the bright side. This now makes room to add a guy that says yes sir and no sir and contributes to the community!! Super Bowl baby!
  13. Its simple, if hes found not guilty, he plays for cheap, its a no brainer he comes back. Think about, what would tarnish Gettleman's legacy more.. Re signing a not guilty Hardy to a cheap one yer prove it deal or lettimg Hardy walk to the Falcons or somewhere and he continues being a all pro. Let me put this in perspective, remember that cringe feeling you got before we played the Ravens and how much of a distraction it was, if he goes to one of our division rivals, do you want that year in and year out twice a year?! If he is found innocent and whats a massive contract then let him walk, but its practicially common sense if hes innocent and plays for cheap, he will be back, dont know why people cant grasp this.
  14. Words cannot begin to sescribe how happy I am the Patriots won. I think I might just hate the Seahags as bad as the Saints and Falcons, loathe that god damn team.
  15. I always lose interest in football temporary during the SB, all the annoying "I'm only a fan of football during the SB." crowd annoys me and suddenly all these soccer mom housewives are football experts. I'm usually analyzing multiple mock drafts and draft players during this SB time
