  1. I’m tired of the Rangers being gifted goals.
  2. Kochetkov is ridiculous, I shutter to think what the score would be if Raanta was playing.
  3. Looked weak to me and also looked like Aho was slashed right before it but that’s just me.
  4. I wonder if the red buckets are going to be the staple going forward with the away sweaters.
  5. Looks like PanthersFan69 has joined Trevor Lawrence in the penalty box… nonetheless, the show must go on. If we lose tonight don’t blame me, blame the mods. Also, don’t do poo that’s going to get you banned, our group is already small as is. GO CANES!
  6. Someone get a thread going, ol’ six niner might have been given the axe.
  7. Probably depends on Harbaugh’s opinion of artificial turf.
  8. I’ve complimented Harbaugh’s ability to field a good defense in another post, specifically stating that he turned Michigan into a defensive powerhouse. Nonetheless, having an elite defense doesn’t take away from the fact that the offenses were average in terms of the sheer ability to move the ball consistently. Total yards is a good indicator of a functional offense because it shows the ability to move the ball. Scoring offense could easily indicate that your defense sets up your offense and without a good defense your offense doesn’t succeed. If your defense forces a bunch of three and outs and turnovers then you obviously aren’t going to have to move the ball as far to get into scoring range. All things considered, I’d feel much better if the 49ers were consistently in the top 10 in scorning offense during Harbaugh’s tenure. Additionally, I’m not too inclined to bring in an offensive coach that focuses so much on the run which Harbaugh has continued to do even at Michigan, there needs to be some balance in the modern NFL. You can hire a competent DC and get the same results while having a better offense. As I mentioned, Rapoport reported that a lot of the dysfunction at the end of Harbaugh’s tenure had to do with the lackluster performance of the 49ers offense and while I’d love a three year stretch where the Panthers are competitive, I want a coach who can adapt, not give us three good years then bolt once he gets figured out.
  9. Did ol’ @Panthers Fan 69 get banned or is he just slacking? We got the Rongos tonight.
  10. So he’s going to accept the Panthers job then bail on us?
  11. The floor has to be Rhule, I just refuse to believe there is someone worse out there. If there is, they need to look for another career path.
  12. At the end of the day, whatever happens, happens. I’ll support the next head coach until they give me a reason not to; I can’t imagine anyone could cause me to lose faith as quickly as Matt Rhule did, but I’ve been wrong many times before…
  13. Hell, I look at him in a better light because of college. His postseason record isn’t great but at least he’s built Michigan into a defensive powerhouse (excluding the TCU game). I still have a lot of concerns about his offensive coaching philosophy though. When the 49ers were going through a lot of their issues, Rapoport reported that a lot of the dysfunction had to do with an offense that was led by an offensive coach, had 10 coaches dedicated to the offensive side of the ball, yet was 19th in scoring.
  14. I’m not sold on Harbaugh, there’s numerous questions surrounding his overall ability to work well with others (among other things). When Harbaugh moved on from the 49ers it was reported by Business Insider that he had a horrible relationship with San Francisco’s front office and then Rapoport and Deion Sanders reported that a lot of of the veteran players on the 49ers had issues with Harbaugh. Then you get into the fact that the guy just can’t seem the finish (yes, I know I sound like Steve Wilks). He’s gone 2-7 in bowl games and couldn’t bring a Super Bowl to San Francisco despite compiling a record of 44-19-1. Finally, you have the pure coaching aspect, he’s supposed to be an offensive coach, so make these numbers make sense. San Francisco’s Total Offense Rankings During Harbaugh’s Tenure 2011 - 26th 2012 - 11th 2013 - 24th 2014 - 20th So what exactly are you getting with Harbaugh? An offensive coach that can’t… coach offense?
