This isn’t rocket science… this was a college coach playing his 5th year senior who used his Covid year to come back when everyone wanted him gone (Elflein)… over the sophomore that everyone saw ball at a high level the previous year and was expected to come in and be the starter (Bozeman). Bozeman was fantastic with the Ravens last year and should have been the day one starter. And I don’t mean any disrespect to Elflein, he’s just not even remotely close to being on the same level as Bozeman. The favoritism that Rhule had towards players was ridiculous.

If you can make it to the NFL out of UMass then you are halfway decent because that’s the worst college football program of the past 10 years. Andy Isabella had to single handily win them games.

You judge him just like any other head coach in my opinion. He’s 1-1 with 10 games left, if he can finish with a 12 game record of 7-5 (six more wins) or above then I think you have to seriously consider giving him the job. I think going 7-5 with another coaches roster and staff would certainly qualify you for the job. And hell, 8-9 might win this division.

It is odd that he tweeted that today though, and up until this point, Wilks has been his position coach… and now his head coach… it’s probably in reference to Rhule but what are the odds that he’s one of the few that doesn’t like Wilks? Obviously no one is going to be universally liked. It’s just odd timing… especially after a win.
