Edmonton is a McDavid injury away from not being good. Watching him tonight, he is generating all the offense for the Oilers.

So bumping Stastny down is the right call. He’s a little slow and can’t get in on the forecheck.

I’m going to say it, Nino is the biggest loss that we experienced this offseason. There would have been no way to fit him in with Patches but I don’t necessarily think Stastny is cut out for that line. Historically, he’s much better at center.

Need the Stastny, Staal, and Fast line to provide a little something… Staal and Fast have no points and Stastny’s only point game during a partial line change.
