  1. Now Hegardt in for Jones and Santos for Afful. Only Romero awaits.
  2. Sisniega in for Marks and Alcivar in for McNeill. Just waiting on Santos, Hegardt, and Romero.
  3. Looks like the second half lineup is: GK - Marks RB - Afful RCB - Walkes LCB - Makoun LB - Mora CDM - Jones LCM - Jozwiak RCM - McNeill LW - Vargas ST - Rios RW - Shinyashiki The only players who have not entered are Sisniega, Santos, Alcivar, Hegardt, and Romero.
  4. Assuming we are going to have a bunch of subs next half… I’d like to see the below lineup for poo’s and giggles. GK - Marks RB - Afful RCB - Walkes LCB - Fuchs LB - Mora CDM - Alcivar RCM - Hegardt LCM - Bender RW - Jozwiak ST - Shinyashiki LW - Vargas
  5. Overall, a solid first half from our guys. Chelsea had most of the possession but Charlotte certainly had chances as well. What was really nice to see is how good our defensive shape and team defense was. Outside of Pulsic’s goal off of an unlucky deflection, Chelsea didn’t create many high danger chances.
  6. And just like that Pulisic gets on the board for Chelsea after an unfortunate deflection. Charlotte FC 0 - Chelsea 1
  7. Charlotte is really growing into this game, it’s probably the best performance from an MLS side so far in any of these international friendlies. Edit - I did not realize that Minnesota was thrashing Everton.
  8. Just your typical rainy evening news dump in the middle of the Charlotte FC / Chelsea match.
  9. I’d give Jarvis, Necas, Koivunen, and a first rounder for Tkachuck; he’s exactly what we need.
  10. Everyone is available except Zendejas, Armour, Franco, Ortiz, and Mello. Romero has also been added from the academy.
  11. We got Chelsea tonight, with it being a friendly, I’d like to see some of the guys that we haven’t seen in a while get some time: Marks, Lindsay, Sobocinski, Hegardt, Alcivar, Jones, Ortiz, Gaines, and Vargas.
  12. So a quick Google search states that Bridges at the very least will be on some sort of probation and in the worse case scenario could get five years in jail.
  13. Phew… we’ll he’s fugged, arraignment is tomorrow.
  14. I’m actually just getting into the NHL contract nuances. I actually feel like they are easier to understand than NBA and NFL contracts but it took a lot of reading up on them.
  15. I personally want to see Necas be given a chance at 2C ahead of Kotkaniemi. I think Kotkaniemi is ultimately a 3C and Staal’s replacement.
  16. If the Canes can offload Gardiner, a first, and someone like Ryan Suzuki for future considerations then we could bring back Nino. If Gardiner is offloaded then we’d have $8,133,083 in cap space, assuming Pederson is sent to Chicago, that frees up another $750,000 for a total of $8,883,083 Drury takes up $925,000, Nino would need to sign for $4,000,000, and Necas would need to sign a bridge deal for around $3,000,000. The Canes would have just under $1,000,000 in cap space left so they could bring up someone like Joey Keane to complete the defense. Svechnikov - Aho - Jarvis Pacciorretty - Necas - Teravainen Niederreiter - Staal - Fast Kotkaniemi - Drury - Kase Martinook Slavin - Burns Skjei - Pesce Chatfield - Coghlan Keane Andersen Raanta Really, the only question mark would be 3LD. Do the Canes roll two righties or try to find a cheap LHD.
  17. Looks like the Canes are trying to figure out a way to keep Nino.
  18. Absolutely nothing, don’t think the market went the way he anticipated. Unfortunately, I don’t think there is anyway that we can keep him unless Gardiner is moved and that is sure to cost us a first round pick and probably a prospect. Nonetheless, I could definitely get behind this line up: Svech - Aho - Jarvis Patches - KK - Turbo Nino - Staal - Fast Necas - Drury - Kase Marty
  19. I can honestly say that I know absolutely nothing about Luis Eduardo Soares da Silva who goes by Cuiabano. It appears that he’s a left back for Gremio’s (Série B) U20 team and is also a member of the U20 Brazilian national team. In addition to Charlotte; Orlando (MLS), Philadelphia (MLS), Stuttgart (Bundesliga) and Leverkusen (Bundesliga) are also interested in the young Brazilian. You can’t tell a whole lot from this video but the youngster appears to have a rocket of a shot. It is nice to see us being linked to a left back.
