Gold also said that Necas and Gardiner were in the Burns trade. -

They can split it up by buying him out. I think they’d gain like $1.5M this year, if they can find someone to take him by attaching like a 2nd round pick and a prospect then they’d alleviate the full cap hit. -

If Gardiner and Bear are pushed out then I could see the Canes bringing in another left handed defenseman as the remaining depth would be: Slavin - Burns Skjei - Pesce ? - Coghlan Chatfield Keane They could play Chatfield on his off side but Rod really doesn’t like to do that. Additionally, who plays on Staal’s left? Theoretically Necas could play there but that might not be a good fit and he’s been a right wing throughout his career. Noesen was mentioned and he could be an option as well. Still a lot of things to iron out. -
Think we need some memes for Patches and Burns.

Could be. He’s a power forward with a good shot and could develop nicely on that line. It’ll be interesting to see what they do with Necas, Bear, and Gardiner. Those are the only question marks I see. Theoretically they could move Marty for cap space but I don’t think Rod would let that happen. Everyone else seems penciled in. -

Canes have added goalie, Zach Sawchenko, he’ll be backing up Pyotr in Chicago next year. The Wolves are going to look mighty different next year… -

I think cap wise we’ll have to be about done unless they move Gardiner, Necas, and Bear. We have just under $5M in cap space which will probably go to Necas. I suspect Bear is gone since he just filed for arbitration. It appears that Canes are really going to give KK a shot to be the 2C. I think the only question mark is who is going to play beside Staal. Right now I have it as: Svech - Aho - Jarvis Patches - KK - Turbo Necas - Staal - Fast Marty - Drury - Kase Noesen Pederson Slavin - Burns Skjei - Pesce Gardiner - Coghlan Chatfield Bear Keane Andersen Raanta Kochetkov Obviously this is all subject to change based off of what the Canes decide to do with Necas, Gardiner, and Bear. -

Turbo feeding Patches is going to be glorious. -
For all the talk about Duren, you’d think he’d be putting up 20 and 10 games… but no, Duren’s and Williams’ best games are as followed: Jalen Duren - 13 points (80% FG, 71% FT), 6 rebounds (1 off), 3 assists, 2 blocks, +5 in 26 minutes. Mark Williams - 12 points (67% FG), 8 rebounds (2 off), 2 blocks, 2 steals, 1 assist, +4 in 20 minutes Where is this huge gap that we were all told there was?

True but I don’t think Rod would start him at 2C. They are going to give KK a chance to prove himself. -
Nick Richards has been in the league for three years so he’s obviously going to get more burn… just like Noel, Olynyk, Stewart, and Bagley are going to get more run than Duren.

So when you can’t respond with facts you just spew bullshit? You’re the type of Carolina fan that gives a lot of us a bad rep. Go back to posting on IC… you aren’t contributing anything here.

I edited the post and the point still stands… who is Duren playing? The same completion? Also who is Duren’s point guard and who is Williams’? You keep talking up Duren who has what, a summer league high of 11 points while playing with one of the best guards in summer league?
-
Mobley and Sylla Duren is playing against the same comp.
-
Williams stat line (posted below) was all done in 20 minutes today. If he can put up those numbers consistently then he’ll be just fine. Mark Williams - 12 points (67% FG), 8 rebounds (2 off), 2 blocks, 2 steals, 1 assist, +4

This success of this team is going to rely on KK becoming a 60 point 2C. -

Another move will have to be made because we can’t fit Necas in as is. Though in reality, I’m not even really sure where Necas fits. Svech - Aho - Jarvis Patches - KK - Teravainen ? - Staal - Fast Marty - Drury - Kase Noesen Pederson Slavin - Burns Skjei - Pesce Gardiner - Coghlan Chatfield Keane Andersen Raanta Kochetkov I think we could see both Bear and Necas traded for picks and prospects and then the Canes could use their remaining cap space to bring back Nino or sign someone like Palat. -

I’m gonna be honest, I’m worried about our 2C. I think KK is a 3C that has to play 4C because of Staal but I’m not sure he’s a 2C. I’d personally ship Necas and Bear out for a 2C, add picks and prospects if needed, I’d also buyout Gardiner, and I’d also bring back Nino. Svechnikov - Aho - Jarvis Paccioretty - Trade - Teravainen Niederreiter - Staal - Fast Kotkaniemi - Drury - Kase Martinook Call Up’s - Noesen, Pederson Slavin - Burns Skjei - Pesce Chatfield - Coghlan Keane Call Up’s - Lajoie Andersen Raanta Call Up’s - Kochetkov -
Hornets beat the Cavs 91-80 Hornets looked solid today, all around good performance by all the guys. What really helped was not playing three bigs together. The Hornets two draft picks were the team leaders today: Bryce McGowens - 24 points (70% FG, 83% 3P, 83% FT), 2 rebounds, 1 assist, +/-0 Mark Williams - 12 points (67% FG), 8 rebounds (2 off), 2 blocks, 2 steals, 1 assist, +4
-
Mark Williams is up to 8 points (67% FG), 4 rebounds (1 off), 2 blocks, 2 steals, 1 assist, +8

Mark Williams coming out party.
