  1. I edited the post and the point still stands… who is Duren playing? The same completion? Also who is Duren’s point guard and who is Williams’? You keep talking up Duren who has what, a summer league high of 11 points while playing with one of the best guards in summer league?
  2. Mobley and Sylla Duren is playing against the same comp.
  3. Williams stat line (posted below) was all done in 20 minutes today. If he can put up those numbers consistently then he’ll be just fine. Mark Williams - 12 points (67% FG), 8 rebounds (2 off), 2 blocks, 2 steals, 1 assist, +4
  4. This success of this team is going to rely on KK becoming a 60 point 2C.
  5. Another move will have to be made because we can’t fit Necas in as is. Though in reality, I’m not even really sure where Necas fits. Svech - Aho - Jarvis Patches - KK - Teravainen ? - Staal - Fast Marty - Drury - Kase Noesen Pederson Slavin - Burns Skjei - Pesce Gardiner - Coghlan Chatfield Keane Andersen Raanta Kochetkov I think we could see both Bear and Necas traded for picks and prospects and then the Canes could use their remaining cap space to bring back Nino or sign someone like Palat.
  6. I’m gonna be honest, I’m worried about our 2C. I think KK is a 3C that has to play 4C because of Staal but I’m not sure he’s a 2C. I’d personally ship Necas and Bear out for a 2C, add picks and prospects if needed, I’d also buyout Gardiner, and I’d also bring back Nino. Svechnikov - Aho - Jarvis Paccioretty - Trade - Teravainen Niederreiter - Staal - Fast Kotkaniemi - Drury - Kase Martinook Call Up’s - Noesen, Pederson Slavin - Burns Skjei - Pesce Chatfield - Coghlan Keane Call Up’s - Lajoie Andersen Raanta Call Up’s - Kochetkov
  7. Hornets beat the Cavs 91-80 Hornets looked solid today, all around good performance by all the guys. What really helped was not playing three bigs together. The Hornets two draft picks were the team leaders today: Bryce McGowens - 24 points (70% FG, 83% 3P, 83% FT), 2 rebounds, 1 assist, +/-0 Mark Williams - 12 points (67% FG), 8 rebounds (2 off), 2 blocks, 2 steals, 1 assist, +4
  8. They should be, they have him away because they fuged their cap after trading for Eichel.
  9. Max Paccioretty, when healthy he’s a solid goal scorer. Kase is in the same boat, he always seems to be hurt.
  10. So we are currently looking at something like… Svechnikov - Aho - Jarvis Paccioretty - Kotkaniemi - Teravainen Kase - Staal - Fast Martinook - Drury - Necas Noesen Pederson Slavin - Burns Skjei - Pesce Gardiner - Coghlan Bear Chatfield Keane Andersen Raanta Kochetkov
  11. Well… here’s some moves. Canes acquire Patches and Coghlan for nothing and sign Kase on a cheap deal.
  12. Mark Williams is up to 8 points (67% FG), 4 rebounds (1 off), 2 blocks, 2 steals, 1 assist, +8
  13. Hornets lead 46-44 at half. Led by: Bryce McGowens - 14 points (67% FG, 100% 3P), -4 Kai Jones - 7 points (75% FG, 100% FT), 2 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 steal, -1 Mark Williams - 4 points (100% FG), 4 rebounds (1 off), 1 assist, 1 block, 1 steal, +3
  14. Like what we got out of McGowens in the first, he seems like the type of player that will be on fire or ice cold.
  15. Looks like a different starting lineup today. Crutcher, Figueroa, McGowens, Thor, Williams. No Richards this evening, he’s sitting out.
  16. It’s official. Canes acquire Brent Burns (33% retained) and Lane Pederson for Steven Lorentz, Eetu Makiniemi, and a conditional draft pick.
  17. We haven’t had much luck with that position, IIRC, Chantel got in trouble for a DUI or something.
  18. Something about North Carolina teams and wild off seasons… usually not in a good way.
  19. Yeah, as you said before, she ruined her career. Can’t have cleat chasers around an organization with married men.
  20. For sure, by all accounts, Twitter and Reddit individuals that know him say he is a great person. He’s taking it a lot better than me. Praying for Abby isn’t exactly the first thing I’d be doing if I was in his situation… good on him.
