  1. Cole is a free agent but your point is still valid… two people fuged up and now two families are broken. Obviously feel bad for Labar’s fiancé but feel just as bad for Cole’s family.
  2. The Hornets finally win a summer league game. The Hornets were led by Ty-Shon Alexander, LJ Figueroa, and Nick Richards.
  3. Ty-Shon Alexander and once again, LJ Figueroa, were solid during the third quarter.
  4. Hornets down 48-43 at the half. They are being led by LJ Figueroa, who definitely deserves a camp invite, and former UNC standout, Brady Manek. LJ Figueroa - 9 Points (100% FG, 100% 3P), 1 Steal Brady Manek - 8 points (50% FG), 1 Block
  5. This team is absolute poo, no progression from any of our guys… get an actual coach for fugs sake.
  6. It’s time to get an actual coach for the G-League and Summer League teams of the future. Surenkamp is just a shitty coach who has no experience other than being the director of ops for a horrible South Alabama basketball team. These college players are coming in and getting worse coaching from their G-League coach than they got in college.
  7. Starting to think that Surenkamp is not an good coach. The Hornets G-League team and Summer League team have looked out of sorts with him at the helm. They’ll give it another go in a couple hours.
  8. Good God… Cole definitely won’t be back and neither will Abby Labar who apparently was fugging Cole among other players while she was engaged. Labar’s fiancé found out and called off the wedding and I assume Cole and his wife are probably having issues as well. And… apparently Labar didn’t stop with Ian Cole…
  9. I think it’s best to keep the interim title right now but depending on how the season finishes up, I could see Lattanzio being named the permanent manager.
  10. Both Bronico and Ruiz have been great recently. I like McNeill but Bender is obviously the better of the two right now and I’d love to see a midfield of Bronico, Ruiz, and Bender.
  11. Temporarily up to 5th in the table. Charlotte’s next five games are all very winnable, they have a great chance to set themselves up for the playoffs.
  12. Goallll!!! X2 Fantastic counter by Charlotte and a great low cross by Bender to Ruiz results in a goal followed by a nice 1-2 combination between Bender and Shinyashiki which results in a blast by Shinyashiki outside the 18 that finds the back of the net. FINAL Charlotte FC 4 - Nashville 1 Fuchs 26’ Pen Swiderski 61’ (from Reyna) Ruiz 89’ (from Bender) Shinyashiki 90’ + 1’ (from Bender)
  13. Shinyashiki in for Jozwiak and Reyna in for Mora. Looks like a switch to a 5-4-1 maybe. Or maybe a 4-4-2 with Mora playing as an outside mid.
  14. Nashville gets one back after a horrible penalty conceded by Afful, was totally unnecessary. Charlotte FC 2 - Nashville 1
  15. Goallllll!!! There it is!!! Swiderski finally gets one off a lovely cross by Reyna. Great heading finish by Karol. Charlotte FC 2 - Nashville 0 Fuchs 26’ Pen Swiderski 61’ (from Reyna)
  16. Oh Lord… Corujo must have picked up a knock… Makoun is in. Hopefully we can hang on.
  17. Goallllll!!! Charlotte FC 1 - Nashville 0 Fuchs 26’ Pen Great cutback by Ruiz in the box right into the path of an incoming Nashville defender who was reckless with his tackle. Also a great ball by Reyna to Ruiz. Good job by Fuchs to calmly convert the penalty as well.
  18. Big one coming up against Nashville, looks like the same lineup as last week. GK - Kahlina RB - Afful RCB - Corujo LCB - Walkes LB - Fuchs CDM - Bronico RCM - McNeill LCM - Ruiz RW - Jozwiak ST - Swiderski LW - Reyna Subs - Marks, Lindsey, Makoun, Mora, Bender, Jones, Gaines, Shinyashiki, Rios Not Included - Sisniega, Sobocinski, Alcivar, Ortiz, Vargas Injured - Armour, Mello On Loan - Zendejas(Charlotte Independence), Santos (Charlotte Independence), Hegardt (Charlotte Independence), Franco (Talleres)
  19. Hornets fall to the Pacers, 96-84. Leaders: Nick Richards - 15 Points (63% FG), 11 Rebounds (3 Off), 2 Blocks, 1 Assist, -6 LJ Figueroa - 16 Points (100% FG, 100% 3P, 100% FT), 5 Rebounds (2 Off), 2 Assists, 1 Steal, -7 Richards looks a little more mobile but he still needs to work on his overall coordination and cutdown on the turnovers. Figueroa looked great with the minutes that he got, he might play his way into a two-way contract.
  20. +/- isn’t everything but Mark Williams leads the Hornets at -1…
