  1. Eh so I guess Charlotte can get the 7th. If Charlotte wins and everyone else loses then we’d get the 7th per NBA PR Communications. The above chart will be very helpful tomorrow.
  2. I don’t think I’d play him the rest of the year. It’ll take him time get going and in the play-in and playoff games you don’t have time for that.
  3. You are correct! I guess the best case scenario is Charlotte wins, Atlanta loses, and Cleveland loses. 7th. Brooklyn 8th. Charlotte 9th. Cleveland 10th. Atlanta Though the more likely scenario seems like Atlanta wins and Cleveland loses. Milwaukee is still playing for seeding so they shouldn’t be resting anyone. 7th. Brooklyn 8th. Atlanta 9th. Charlotte 10th. Cleveland That’s not the worst case scenario as we can beat Cleveland at home and we should be able to beat Atlanta.
  4. Edit: I ran a few of the tiebreakers and I was incorrect, the Hornets cannot move up the the 7th seed, the best they can do is the 8th seed.
  5. Updated standings heading into the final game for each team on Sunday. 7th. Brooklyn (43-38) 8th. Cleveland (43-38) 9th. Atlanta (42-39) 10th. Charlotte (42-39) Final Games Charlotte vs. Washington Atlanta @ Houston Cleveland vs. Milwaukee Brooklyn vs. Indiana There’s really no point in discussing the tiebreakers because there are so many scenarios… the Hornets could find themselves anywhere from 7th to 10th. I will say that if the Hornets were to win on Sunday, the only team they wouldn’t have the direct head to head tiebreaker over would be Atlanta as Atlanta has a better record within the division. Charlotte would own the tiebreaker over Brooklyn and Cleveland should they end up tied. However, there’s a chance that three of the teams could end up tied or even possibly all four… from there, there’s just too many scenarios to go over.
  6. Going to flip over to the last 6 minutes of the Cavs/Nets game.
  7. I ain’t saying let the kids play the whole fourth… but let them play the whole fourth.
  8. Cleveland and Brooklyn going down to the wire.
  9. One thing you don’t want to happen is the Hawks win and Nets lose. In that scenario Charlotte will probably be playing Brooklyn in the play in game.
  10. I’d take Atlanta. I know they’ve been playing good ball but for some odd reason I feel like Tre Young usually struggles against us.
  11. Good offensive quarter, defense is still ass… Update in other games… Nets up 62-54 over the Cavs at half. Heat up 24-22 over the Hawks after one.
  12. Not looking good in Cleveland… Just a note, if Cleveland, Charlotte, and Atlanta are tied then Cleveland would win the tiebreaker and Charlotte would be ahead of Atlanta. If just Cleveland and Charlotte are tied the Charlotte would win the tiebreaker. This is all contingent are Charlotte winning out.
  13. The fact we are paying Hayward $30M is infuriating. I get that the free agent class was brutal when he was a FA but there was no reason to overpay just to sign someone. He’s the Hornets version of McCaffrey.
  14. Updated Standings 7th. Cleveland (43-37) 8th. Brooklyn (42-38) 9th. Atlanta (42-38) 10th. Charlotte (41-39) We’ll have an excellent picture of where everyone is likely to be seeded by the end of tomorrow. Games to Watch - Hornets @ Bulls - Cavaliers @ Nets - Hawks @ Heat
  15. It may not even be Dasani water, might have poured it out and put something else in it.
  16. Someone needs to ask JB why he didn’t play Harrell last game… inexcusable, he’s the best player on the court tonight.
  17. Playing better now, Melo starting out strong.
  18. Not watching this one. This team is now ass.
  19. If they take Hayward and Plumlee then fine. Westbrook’s contract expires after next year so it would allow us to get money off the books early. As for how it would work on the floor… probably not great.
  20. Gobert quite easily for me. He damn near leads the league in both rebounds and blocks… something we suck at.
