  1. Embiid is going to play all but 15-18 minutes of the game. We have to make sure we keep it close and take the lead when he sits.
  2. Going to be interesting to see how they factor Gordon into this game… lineup is still the same. G- Ball, Thomas G- Rozier, Martin F- Bridges, Hayward F- Washington, Oubre C- Plumlee, Harrell
  3. Lolol this dude might just be the best goalie in the league in a couple years time.
  4. Assuming that this Hayward thing isn’t some sick April fools joke then we are officially deeeeep. G - Ball, Thomas G - Rozier, Martin F- Hayward, Oubre F - Bridges, Washington C - Plumlee, Harrell Extras: Bouknight McDaniles Thor Jones Richards
  5. And that’s okay with me, he’s playing with an elite shooter in Svechnikov and I mean hell, that pass that he had to Nino last night was one of the best passes I’ve ever seen. A lofted pass through traffic right into Nino’s glove which kept him onside. I think he’ll set up a lot of goals rather than score a bunch of goals and that’s okay.
  6. The FIFA 2022 World Cup Draw just occurred and I think the USA got a favorable draw. We are grouped with England, Iran, and either Wales, Scotland, or Ukraine. As for Charlotte FC players… Harrison Afful (Ghana) - It’s unlikely that Afful makes Ghana’s World Cup roster but he is still rumored to be an option for Ghana should injuries occur before the games begin. Alan Franco (Ecuador) - Franco will be a member of Ecuador’s World Cup team and it’s possible that he gets some CAPS. Kamil Jozwiak (Poland) - Jozwiak is thought to be a lock for Poland’s national team. Karol Swiderski (Poland) - Swiderski’s current form makes him a guarantee for the Polish national team and he might get some starts next to Lewi should this form keep up.
  7. It’s not that Domi won’t or doesn’t fit in, it’s that for the most part Columbus fans were right… Domi is a very willing passer and tries to set teammates up but he doesn’t look for his own shot much… in fact, he only has three shots in five games…. even Jesper Fast has more shots than that. Putting Domi on a line with Trocheck and Svech should be helpful since those two are scorers. However, I think people need to temper expectations when it comes to goals for Domi. He’s simply a player that doesn’t look for his shot. The most shots he’s had in a game this season is four and it’s only happened twice.
  8. There’s a very slight chance we could end up in 7th, it would require us winning four of our last five (at the very least). Cleveland @ NYK - Win (43-35) vs. PHI - Loss (43-36) @ ORL - Win (44-36) @ BKN - Loss (44-37) vs. MIL - Loss (44-38) Brooklyn @ ATL - Loss (40-38) vs. HOU - Win (41-38) @ NYK - Loss (41-39) - The Nets probably win but we need them to lose one more game that’s not the Cleveland game vs. CLE - Win (42-39) vs. IND - Win (43-39) Atlanta vs. BKN - Win (41-37) @ TOR - Loss (41-38) vs. WSH - Win (42-38) @ MIA - Loss (42-39) @ HOU - Win (43-39) Charlotte @ PHI - Loss (40-38) @ MIA - Win (41-38) vs. ORL - Win (42-38) @ CHI - Win (43-38) vs. WSH - Win (44-38) The standings would be… 7th. Charlotte (44-38) - Charlotte wins tiebreaker over Cleveland due to conference winning percentage. 8th. Cleveland (44-38) 9th. Brooklyn (43-39) - Brooklyn wins tiebreaker over Atlanta due to head to head record. 10th. Atlanta (43-39)
  9. It’s going to be a tight finish. 7. Cleveland (42-25) - 5 GR - Hornets 2 games back 8. Brooklyn (40-37) - 5 GR - Hornets 0 games back 9. Charlotte (40-37) - 5 GR 10. Atlanta (40-37) - 5 GR - Hornets 0 games ahead In a three way tie, Brooklyn would get the nod as they have best head to head winning percentage among the three tied teams, though that could changed as Atlanta and Brooklyn play each other one more time. If Charlotte is just in a tie with Brooklyn then Charlotte would have the tiebreaker. The next set of important games comes on Saturday. Hornets @ 76ers Cavs @ Knicks Nets @ Hawks
  10. Domi can certainly sling the puck around, not much of a threat to shoot or much less score but he has some saucy feeds.
  11. I like these lines tonight, all four seems to gel.
  12. He’s getting bumped up tonight. Turbo - Aho - Jarvis Svech - Trocheck - Domi Nino - Staal - Fast Marty - Stepan - Necas Slavin - TDA Skjei - Pesce Smith - Cole Andersen Raanta Injured: KK, Bear Scratched: Lorentz
  13. A poem. I’m here for second line Max Domi sending silky saucers to Svechnikov for sexy scores.
  14. Well here’s where we stand… 7th. - Cleveland (42-34) - 6 games remaining - Hornets are 2.5 games back 8th. Brooklyn (40-36) - 6 games remaining - Hornets are 0.5 games back 9th. Charlotte (40-37) - 5 games remaining 10th. Atlanta (39-37) - 6 games remaining - Hornets are 0.5 games up Important Games Tomorrow - Nets vs. Bucks - Cavs @ Hawks
  15. I’d like to see Melo, Martin, Oubre, Bridges, and Harrell get some burn together.
  16. I don’t think they’ll call up Kochetkov unless there is an injury but I’d love to see him get a chance to take one of the spots next year. Hopefully Kochetkov and Drury are full timers next year.
  17. I definitely don’t think he’s taller than 6’3”, I’ve watched a few of the Wolves games and he looks smaller than that. I also don’t think he’s 6’0” though, maybe without skates?
  18. He’s probably closer to 6’1” or 6’2”, he’s definitely on the smaller side.
  19. And Minter was the ST’s coach at Liberty before getting the gig at Campbell.
  20. On a different note… things could come full circle… Malik Willis played on Cam’s 7v7 team, went to Auburn, transferred to Liberty and played for Hugh Freeze and now has a chance to be selected by the Panthers and play for Matt Rhule… Charlie Brewer was recruited by Matt Rhule and went to Baylor, after Rhule left, Brewer transferred to Utah before ultimately transferring again to… Hugh Freeze and Liberty (where he’s expected to start this year). And who did Matt Rhule lose to in his first game as head coach of Baylor… Liberty (Turner Gill was the head coach at the time).
  21. If we’re just going to look at stats then why not at least be honest about it. Willis played in multiple games where the ball was taken out of hands due to the score or he simply didn’t play in the latter stages of the game. Hell, against UAB (who has a few NFL prospects on their roster) he was 13-19 for 287 yards and 1 TD and ran for an additional 144 yards and 2 TD’s… in three quarters… he didn’t play the fourth. And speaking of rushing, let’s not forget his 878 rushing yards and 13 TD’s…. compared to Walker’s… *check notes* -100 rushing yards and 1 TD. If Hugh Freeze wanted to, he could have had Willis put up 4000 yards passing, 38 TD’s, 1000 yards rushing, and 20 TD’s… but the bottom line is that there were eight games where Willis sat due to the score or due to an injury.
  22. They need to dedicate a practice to just rebounding… it cost us the game against the Nuggets and it’s poo tonight.
