Hopefully Dallas blew their load there in the first quarter. Definitely wasn’t our best start. You can start to see that we are really missing Melo. The ball movement isn’t where it needs to be… I feel like Hayward is a black hole.
-
This team is not where they are today if Kupchak doesn’t sign Oubre. Doesn’t matter if he starts, comes off the bench, etc… he gets buckets when this team needs them.
-
Tad rusty. Hopefully Dallas wears themselves out.
-
Interesting… Martin gets the start over Oubre. I will say a second unit of Bouknight, Oubre, Thor, and Washington (with whichever left over player from the first team) sounds exciting.

Before this game even tips off… I just want to give a shout-out to this team. Down multiple players over the past couple of weeks and they have been absolutely working their asses off, they are a joy to watch. Wish the football team down the road would have some accountability and stop blaming the media and the fans for their failures.

No sugarcoating it, this sucks. Lajoie is headed back to Chicago, Chatfield is staying up, we’re getting back Pesce and TDA, Martinook is hurt, and Aho and Jarvis are in the protocol… I’m not entirely sure this game happens tomorrow… And if it does, we’re going to have to get some help from Chicago… just my opinion but I’d go with… Svech - Trocheck - Turbo Lorentz - KK - Necas Nino - Staal - Fast Smith - Poturalski - Stepan Slavin - Bear Skjei - Pesce Chatfield - TDA Andersen Raanta Injured: Martinook Scratched: Cole, Smith Protocol: Aho, Jarvis

I was wrong, Lewis and Kubolka are back in Greensboro. We should have 11 healthy guys tonight. G - Rozier, Bouknight G - Oubre, Martin F - Hayward, Thor F - Bridges, Jones C - Richards, Washington, Carey Hopefully Borego rewards Bouknight and Thor for playing well. There’s no reason that he can’t find 15 minutes in the game for each.

Haven’t had time to look over the full list but I’d really like to add CB Anton Walkes from Atlanta United. Hyndman is the popular name from Atlanta because he’s a former USMNT player but he’s coming off of a knee injury and makes just under $1M per year. Walkes is a former member of the Spurs U23’s and could use a change of scenery. He’d be a day one starter at CB.

Charlotte FC Adds Vinicius Mello

I’ll also mention that though we can have up to 30 players on our roster, it’s highly unlikely that we see that number this year as each roster spot has a special designation. It takes a couple of years to build a 30 man roster. For example: Austin FC (2021) - 22 roster players Miami (2020) - 23 roster players Nashville (2020) - 27 roster players It obviously takes time to build a roster but obtaining a players’ homegrown rights (Lindsey), signing a U22 (Mello), and potentially drafting a Generation Adidas player (Ousseni Bouda) is a good start. -
Doncic, Cauley-Stein, and Sterling Brown are out for Dallas… this is a winnable game without Doncic playing. For the Hornets, Plumlee and McDaniels cleared the protocol and are in Greensboro for conditioning; Ball and Smith are still in the protocol; and Rozier, Washington, and Richards are back. G - Rozier, Bouknight G - Oubre, Martin, Lewis F - Hayward, Thor, Kubolka F - Bridges, Jones C - Richards, Washington, Carey With the way Bouknight played last game I feel like JB will go with a 9 man rotation (Rozier, Bouknight, Oubre, Martin, Hayward, Thor, Bridges, Richards, Washington).
-
Bulls get that 10th player in the protocol and now they get to postpone games because I believe 8 players have to be available in order to play the game….
-
Another solid add, Mello is a young player with tons of potential and is our first forward. Mello will slot in as a U-22 initiative player. Depending on how the rest of roster is built, he will either be one of three U-22 initiative players or he could be the only one. Below is a rough projection based off of Ramirez’s tendency to play a 4-3-3: GK - Pablo Sisniega LB - Christian Fuchs, Adam Armour CB - Jan Sobocinski CB - Guzman Corujo RB - Jaylin Lindsey CDM - Jordy Alcivar CM - Sergio Ruiz CM - Riley McGree, Brandt Bronico LW - RW - CF - Vinicius Mello Charlotte can add up to 19 more players.

Sometimes it’s just not your night I guess. Sucks since NYR and Florida lost. -

Nvm… see it was Lomberg with the hit. He’s a shithead, clean or not, I’d like to see him get decked. -

I can’t thank Jordan Staal enough for what he’s done for our organization but he’s a 4C at this point in his career. It’s kind of sad to watch sometimes. -

Very unlucky, had the better period. Need to simplify things such as clears and tape to tape passes and get pucks on net. -

He’s the perfect 7D that can play as the 5/6. He’d be solid beside TDA.
