Withers providing some good energy other than not realizing he had more time on that rushed shot.

Michigan State is better than their record, I’ll give them that. Lost a lot of close games including two close games to Purdue. They also beat Illinois in February. I think they are the best of the 8/9 seeds.

Trimble is coming up big. Think I’d give Elliott’s minutes to Seth and Paxson the rest of the game.

As much as I’d like to get home ice throughout, if guys are hurting then they need to be sitting right now.

Going from down 12 to up 9 in one half is a massive swing. Dayton came back from 17 points down in about 7 minutes. Heels just had a 21 point swing in about 10 minutes.

Michigan State scared me more than any other team in our region. Heels can win a track meet but they’ll struggle against a physical team that goes late into the shot clock.

Knew this was coming, hated the matchup with Michigan State. They are a better version of Villanova who pulled UNC earlier.

For me, it has nothing to do with the points and more to do with the effort. Fast hasn’t put up points this year but I never have to question his effort. Svech has put up some points but the effort just isn’t there all the time.

I’ll say it. Abby Labar needs to get Svech out of his slump.
