Still a nice night!!!

That’s a nice night! How much did you wager on your parlay?

I personally feel like the Kuznetsov line needs a stronger forechecking presence. I originally was against a Svechnikov - Kuznetsov - Necas line but I think I might be for it. Guentzel - Aho - Teravainen Svechnikov - Kuznetsov - Necas Martinook - Staal - Jarvis Noesen - Kotkaniemi - Fast Drury, Lemiuex And if you want to give the first line an additional forechecker then swap Teravainen and Jarvis.

Only one I’m remotely disappointed in is Luvu, but he wanted to move on. Would have also liked to kept Bozeman as depth because cutting him didn’t affect the cap, but I won’t lose sleep over it.

I really don’t see how Morgan can be faulted for the Burns situation. The majority of individuals on this board have stated that Burns isn’t worth $30M a year and the front office agreed. So what are the options: 1) Burns plays under the tag and half asses is all season, just like he did last year. 2) Burns holds out and we are stuck with a cap hold. 3) The franchise tag is rescinded and we lose him for nothing (ex. Josh Norman). 4) Burns is traded and you get what you can for him while opening up more money. Morgan did the best he could with the cards he was dealt.

Alright, let’s do this hockey thing.
-
Chatfield is so damn fast.
-
KK line is cooking.

I’ll give the Rangers this, they are very sound defensively. I actually wish Trouba was playing, he’s a physical presence but he’s kind of dogshit as a defenseman.
-
Glad I’m not there for this one, I’d probably slug a Rags fan by the end of the night.

WR Diontae Johnson to the Panthers

Props to Morgan, made chicken salad out of chicken poo. -
It might just be me but I’d consider rotating Lemiuex with Fast depending on the matchup, he’s earned a spot out there. Svechnikov - Aho - Teravainen Guentzel - Kuznetsov - Necas Martinook - Staal - Jarvis Noesen - Drury/Kotkaniemi - Lemiuex/Fast Slavin - Burns Skjei - Pesce Orlov - Chatfield DeAngelo Andersen Kochetkov Martin Raanta
-
Rod said earlier that he won’t be ready in the next day or two so taking him at his word I suspect the earliest we’ll see him is Thursday, maybe Saturday.
-
Post deadline Canes are coming to burn down your village. It’s a shame we won’t have Guentzel for the Rangers game.
-
Probably the best period of the year, doubt Calgary gets a shot on goal if they didn’t get a PP.
-
That was filthy, I need a shower.
-
Kuzy and Necas together is going to be something to watch. Lots of speed and individual talent there.
-
We cloned Fast but at the cost of Jarvis. My mistake Martinook - Staal - Jarvis
-
Walt’s projected lines: Svechnikov - Aho - Teravainen Noesen - Kuznetsov - Necas Martinook - Staal - Fast Lemieux - Kotkaniemi - Fast Defense the same as always Andersen being backed up by Martin
-
Andersen in net, no Drury, Lemiuex jumps in, no Guentzel but he’s getting closer per Rod. Does Kuzy bump up to 2C or does Kotkaniemi go back there? I’d mix all the lines up today because Calgary is a dumpster fire so it’s a good game to try things out. Svechnikov - Aho - Necas Noesen - Kuznetsov - Teravainen Martinook - Staal - Jarvis Lemiuex - Kotkaniemi - Fast Slavin - Burns Skjei - Pesce Orlov - Chatfield Andersen Kochetkov Injured: Guentzel, Drury Scratched: DeAngelo, Martin Re-Assignment: Raanta

Everything that needed to happen for Carolina happened last night. They win the ACC Tourney and they’ll be a one seed playing in Charlotte on the opening weekend of the NCAA Tourney.

Missed yesterday’s game, what went wrong? Also, did they mention when Abada will be ready? -
Panthers cut Bradley Bozeman
MillionDollarCam replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Would have kept him and moved him to guard since he spent some time there in Baltimore. Not starter material but the cap savings you get from cutting him is meaningless. But who knows, Bozeman could have asked to be cut rather than being a backup. -
Three weeks means he wouldn’t be back until April… he’d only get seven regular season games before the playoffs. If that’s really the case then we better win the Cup. Acquiring Guentzel for a handful of regular season games and a second round exit would be a disaster.

After a few more thoughts. I actually think I’d go: Guentzel - Aho - Necas Svechnikov - Kuznetsov - Teravainen Martinook - Staal - Jarvis Noesen - Drury - Fast Kotkaniemi Lemieux Slavin - Burns Skjei - Pesce Orlov - Chatfield DeAngelo Andersen Kochetkov Martin Raanta (Wolves)
