Bouknight had his option declined and just like that we can close the door on the historically bad 2021 Hornets draft class (Bouknight, Jones, Lewis). We need 5 to 6 guys going in order to win games and if Ball’s not going then that makes it almost impossible for us to win. I think Haliburton has passed up Ball as the best PG in the 2020 draft. Maxey might be better as well, if you consider him a true point guard. And Edwards is better but I have him as a combo guard.
