  1. Please no. Over the past 4 years, he has the worst catch rate of almost any WR with decent #s. He had around 46% last year.
  2. Yep. That's been highly speculated but the first direct note I've seen from either side. Good find. I know people are high on Glanton and Klein but I definitely think OLB is in play for us in one way or another.
  3. Thanks man. It may be quiet for the next day on our front but you never know. I'll try to stay on top of it around work.
  4. ^^ haha Btw, I just took Morgan off the list all together until we hear something more...or at all lol.
  5. I don't see Parker, White, or Cooper falling. Strong would be the obvious choice if available but I don't know if anyone past him matches up value wise compared to what may be available at other positions. I think there are some teams that will reach for Perriman and Devin Smith though but that wouldn't be DG.
  6. Having signed Ginn, I don't think it would benefit us adding another 7 yr+ vet outside of Cotchery and Ginn that is another #3 or 4. Royal still has a lot in the tank but I don't know about his fit with Brown and Ginn both being similar receivers. Like its been said, a physical #1/2 type would be great like Strong. Maybe even a Smith, Agholor, McBride, or Diggs would be a decent fit.
  7. I agree. We should hopefuly add a young gun in the draft. It's a ways down the road but I'm hoping the active WR group looks something like this by the time Sept. gets here: Benjamin *Draftee Cotchery Brown Ginn Bersin and Presley go to the PS. I'd be cool with a lot of the receivers in this draft in the first 3/4 rounds.
  8. *Updated Since it seems Morgan has somewhat of a market for himself, I've asterisked him. One thing I like is that it seems we're taking care of guys who were on the team and we know what they can give us. Now we can start to iron things out with outside FAs moving forward.
  9. Those are future type contracts, won't be seeing much of them barring something crazy. I mean, Presley made the active over them haha.
  10. And a quick take, our receiving corps at the moment: Benjamin Cotchery Brown +Ginn +Bersin Presley That's not a finished product by any means but I'd be surprised if we went after another UFA WR outside of camp competition.
  11. I agree..they seem to have faith in the old chap but I'm thinking Harper at this stage is going to be doing around 45-60% of def-snaps. That's why either someone in the draft or FA would be good to add with him, Boston, and Jones.
  12. I agree. Moore is probably not feasible but you never know. Potential at SS--Da'Norris Searcy, Quinton Carter, Jeromy Miles, Mike Adams, Marcus Gilchrist CB--Davon House, Chris Culliver, Brice McCain, Bradley Fletcher, (there's a lot)
  13. I'm going with the rumor bc even that David Newton guy is biting. You never know but I'd expect people to temper their expectations. Thing is, we still have a lot of cap space. Maybe it's for a Morgan deal...or something in the secondary. Outside of McCourty and Maxwell, it's been quiet on that front league wide. Searcy, Rahim Moore, there's a lot of good talent available.

  15. Don't forget Goodwin as well. That dang team in upstate NY has everything but a QB. They're a darkhorse for Hundley or Mannion come draft day.
  16. RavensInsider has been known to break Panther news the past few seasons.
  17. Ah I gotcha. That makes sense with him being a rushing OLB in a 3-4 for Tennessee
  18. I have a long shot wish we land Lance Kendricks. Great TE2 blocker that finally started to catch on opposite Jared Cook. Caught 27-259 with 5 tds in that putrid Rams offense last season.
  19. Exactly. People need to think this more of a Chandler upgrade than Bell. We're still looking for an LT.
  20. It seems a lot of people were thinking some of the potential RTs in the FA would be looked at like Barksdale or Newton. Looks like it came down to wanting a swing lineman to compete with Chandler and if Oher is back to form, maybe for the LT spot. Considering his play the last 2 seasons, it may be a pretty darn cheap contract and we just wanted to scoop up an inexpensive yet experienced RT/LT as depth. Best case: stop gap starter Worst case: doesn't make it through camp What I'm confident about: DG did not by any means give this dude a lot of cash.
  21. He's just going to post a bunch of twitter reactions lol
  22. Well he in effect goes after BPAs who can have the most impact. The ones with the most impact in the first typically fill the most vital holes a la KB and Star. After the first, the BPA method is clear...but for a 1st round investment, it tends to revolve around a major need regardless of the draft strategy.
