  1. Love the write up, perfect for this time of year. I only count 52 players though; maybe add an extra WR or S. I could see Franklin grabbing a spot on the roster.
  2. I've heard him say the same elsewhere. However, he is literally the only one I've heard say that he was bad at the mid level throws.
  3. Extra points for the badass panthers sweater gif.
  4. I agree, but only "slightly below average" would be his best NFL season. Still, this should be the best line he's ever had.
  5. That's a hell of a combo! I like it.
  6. Brown, Elflein, and Erving, IMO. Erving and Elflein are versatile, and should be decent back ups. THEY IN NO WAY ARE NFL STARTERS! Plus, we're paying them anyway, might as well let them hang around. Brown and Mays are both on 6th rd rookie contracts, so they're basically free.
  7. I'm starting to think Fitterer started the alcohol issue rumor.
  8. He literally could have been me, except my CMC jersey is black.
  9. I'm not hating on TMJ, in fact, I'm excited about his potential. BUT, to answer your question... I would have preferred to stay put at #52 and grab Radunz or Freiermuth. FWIW, I think TMJ was Brady's pick.
  10. They know better than to invite Icky and Mays.
  11. Looks like they're automatically giving TB 6 conference wins.
  12. So says the internet, so it must be true!
  13. Fun fact, Montana was the player that sat out (due to injury)so that Rudy would get his chance to dress out for his final game at ND. Thus we have one hell of a movie.
  14. Getting a capable backup at 94 would be considered a win. Getting a capable starter at 94 is a GD steal. I think that we very likely ended up with the latter, based on Simms' and others' evaluations, but we shall see. I whole-heartedly admit that I have never watched an Ole Miss game.
  15. I think that he has the highest ceiling of the 3 that were available, even if he wasn't the most ready to play. He'll take some rookie lumps in pass protection against the speed rush, but DAMN, I can't wait to see CMC running behind him! Line Tremble up on that side as well and it's going to be pure carnage in the run game!
  16. I hear ya, but that's money already spent, we ain't getting it back. Let him earn it by taking the beating while the new O-line gels and Corral and Icky get used to NFL speed football.
  17. Also worth noting that he was a decent return guy at Oklahoma before he transferred to Miami.
  18. Corral starts week 7 Panthers have 11 wins CMC plays in 18 games. Misses 1 regular season, plays in both playoff games.
  19. The report only says that the Steelers had a rd 1 grade on him, but Pickett had a higher rd 1 grade. It could have worked the same for us , for example, we could have had a late rd 1 grade on him but not a #6. I think that most folks would now agree that no QB had a top 10 grade. Who really knows unless they were in the draft rooms. Edit: FWIW, I was a proponent of Corral or Howell in Rd 2 if we traded back in rd 1, so I'm pretty happy to get him at #94.
