  1. I think there's a good chance that they stick with Ryan, but not so sure they'd trade back. They'd basically have their pick of non-qb's. grabbing the best pass-rusher, OT, CB, WR would be awfully tempting. I'm also sure that Ryan would love to have Pitts as a weapon. Them trading witha a QB needy team would be about as bad as it could get for us though.
  2. Judging from the Panther's history, the fact that he can take a hit may be the most important thing to look for in our next QB. lol
  3. I'm very excited about our future. Marty is gone, Ron is gone, and they've been replaced with guys that SEEM to be aggressively trying to get better. Too soon to be certain, but I'm stoked.
  4. I think so too. Goff came with a $54M price tag for the next 2 years and is only 26. They also passed on deals from us and WFT (apparently) that would have helped them more now. Looks to me like they think Goff is their guy. Now all we have to worry about is what they'll get offered by QB hungry teams trying to leapfrog us on draft day. Talking to you Marty/Ron.
  5. **I AM NOT SAYING DO IT, just playing the off-season La-Z-Boy GM game**, but, do you think Moton and a mid round 3-4th) pick would do it? They get rid of a player that doesn't want to be there, get a proven RT and a pick. We get a LT, get rid of Moton's soon-to-be salary, and RT's are a little easier to find on days 2-3 than a LT.
  6. I'm a slow learner too. I think we would pay the following (prior to the draft): Watson Stafford 2021 $10.5 $20 2022 $35 $23 2023 $37 $0 (Det pays the bonus?? That can't be right.) 2024 $32 F/A 2025 $32 F/A $146.5 / 5Y $43M / 3Y
  7. A of QB's still not sure where they'll play next season. Plus a strong draft class. No need to get too anxious over 1 guy.
  8. Not advocating for it, just doing the math. 2 second round picks (spread out) for a #26 pic, is more realistic than #8, as OP mentioned. I honestly hope we never pick this early again, and don't want to waste it.
  9. Your math is solid, BUT, what about a second and next year's 2nd (assuming they'd go for it)? We apparently "showed strong interest" in him last year. https://catcrave.com/2020/04/21/carolina-panthers-interest-jordan-love/
  10. Wow, he has Slater over Sewell, that's the first time I've seen that. I just saw in another thread where we were mocked to get him at 8. I haven't researched a lot of prospects other than QB, but this is intriguing.
  11. First off, I really like that sight, I hadn't seen it before. Thanks. Second, if it does play out like this with all 4 QB's being gone, LT is the next most important position IMO, so I'm stoked. that being said, I don't know much about the LT prospects outside of Sewell being the lead dog. Also, this mock still had several day 2 QB's left on the board with starting potential; Trask, Newman, and Ridder specifically. Those aren't the worst conciliation prizes considering we would have LT locked down for 5 years AND TB to start out the season if needed.
  12. Does Newman in the 2nd count??? Technically, he's a bulldog.
  13. I agree. Remmers actually played well all of 2015 except the SB, where he got owned by one of the best pass rushers in the league. It was obvious from the start that he needed help.
  14. Most likely it was Rhule, but yeah, it wasn't his idea to leave.
  15. Olive a defensive game. This is way more fun, Imo, than the shootout between Brady and Rogers.
  16. That's what I like about him, he's not just a catching tight end, he'll lay a fuggin block quick! Doesn't mind doing the dirty work.
  17. He's in his own head, Making dumb mistakes. Take a deep breath young man. If you think this is hard, wait until you're up against Tom Brady next week.
  18. Holy poo, Kelsey is the poo! He catches it, blocks, can get tax! Go bills... But still, gotta like watching Kelsey play.
