Three winning seasons out of fifteen isn't "not the best". It's sh-t. Now as to the owner, I'll agree we're improved there as long as he remains hands off and lets his football people do their jobs.

Crappy OL helps... But yeah, that's bad. And I'd wager he's regretting that comment by now.

Yeah again, not true. Marty only managed three winning seasons in fifteen years as GM. Gettleman got that many in five, and had us in the playoffs with significantly more consistency. I don't hate Marty, but let's be real. He was sh-t as a GM I have high hopes for Fitterer to be better than both

Chargers still have sh-tty ownership. It's hard to know just how far they'll go.

Bucs-Rams is looking "as advertised" so far.

Yikes

Yeah that's...not really true. The Panthers got loads of attention early for reaching the NFC Championship in only their second year. Seifert had em in the public eye in 1999 as well. Marty got us some attention from 2002 to 2005 but then outside of 2008 we pretty much faded from view again till the Newton pick. The notion that Marty brought us any kind of consistent prominence just isn't accurate.

Besides us? Steelers.

So was Jimmy Clausen

You guys realize if not for Jerry's creepy old man tendencies we'd still have Marty Hurney running the team, right?

Still a rookie in his first start, but yeah, bad.

Paging Lamar Lathon...

I get that.

Good grief

If he'd known... Well, best for us that he didn't.

As to Fields, he was still a rookie playing his first game so anybody looking to make definitive statements about him based on that needs to pump the brakes a little bit.

It was Marty who went into "recruiting mode" first. Ironic as hell, I know

Steelers jump but the Bengals took a time out?

What a sh-t playcall on 4th and 10 by the Steelers.

Giants-Falcons tied with 3 minutes left

Roethlisberger has picked up but his remaining receivers aren't anything special.

Steelers down to two healthy receivers

I wouldn't be all that shocked to see the Bears clean house after this season. Coach, GM, all of it...

Get off my lawn

Jones is in what's absolutely the right offense for his skill set. As far as Fields, I'm not sure the current Bears offense fits anybody's skill set.
