  1. I wouldn't guarantee he even knows about that.
  2. It's kind of funny because it used to be our signees were often the most obscure guys you could find.
  3. Traded? Maybe. To us? Doubt it.
  4. ... in addition to Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. You knew they'd be bringing in a kicker. The team is allowed up to five so there could be more.
  5. Reminded me of when we kept hoping Cameron Artis-Payne was going to turn into something.
  6. Oh sure. It's always wise to sign a guy based on how good he was for part of a season three years ago. We'll just ignore that he couldn't even make the final roster for the Cowboys (or anybody else) all of last year.
  7. The intro video is another win for the social media team.
  8. WR = David Moore OL = David Moore Jr And DJ Moore...well, you know him.
  9. The thing about Smith is if you want him to be successful in this role, you need to partner him with somebody who knows how to work with his personality. Taylor Zarzour is someone who can do that.
  10. Technically he didn't "look bad" on the Cowboys defense last year. He didn't make the team.
  11. I won't claim to know, but I have found that in the majority of cases like this the simple answer turns out to be that the player just wasn't actually as good as we thought he was.
  12. Granted, but our previous solution would have been to sign a guy like Tre Boston. I'm hoping for better now.
  13. Fitterer definitely seems to be "looking under every rock". (I'm in favor...)
  14. According to Alaina Getzenberg, the Panthers can actually bring in up to five try out players this week same as during rookie minicamp. She believes they'll bring in a full complement, so we'll likely be hearing other names as well.
  15. I looked him up. He was signed by the Cowboys last offseason (reunited with former Packers coach Mike McCarthy) but he didn't make the final roster. He was apparently available all last year but nobody picked him up. That's probably not a good sign
  16. I'm hoping he's as tough on them as he is on himself.
  17. I haven't heard any of Zarzour's play by play at least not that I recall. I did think he was good on WFNZ though.
  18. Clinton-Dix has already had tryouts in a couple of other places with no takers. I'd say my expectations would be pretty low.
  19. I mean, plenty of reports at the time confirmed that he was retiring, but still...
  20. It happens. Heck, Dan Morgan was employed by two other NFL teams first before he made his way back here. If you go back and look at the thread announcing his retirement though, it's peppered with people saying stuff like "he's going to Washington, I just know it".
  21. Nah. I don't have a problem with it. But given how paranoid people were that Luke was heading to Washington immediately after his retirement was announced, I'm sure some people will.
  22. I'm surprised the Panthers bot hasn't posted that here already Edit: Now it has.
