  1. Yeah...that's not obvious at all. There was a post (I think in this thread) from a guy talking about what it takes to become a licensed massage therapist. It was pretty good information.
  2. Can't speak for Rum but I don't think it's so much about the social media aspect of it as it is the situations he's putting himself in. Some high profile men won't even allow themselves to be alone with a woman in a closed room, much less fly a woman from Atlanta to Houston to meet in a hotel. For that matter, if you're wanting a massage, why not go to a Massage Envy or something like that rather than meeting people alone in situations like this where rumors are possible? Pandemic considerations? Okay, but that doesn't prevent you from having other people around so that you can establish what happened and what didn't. According to the complaints, Watson asked to clarify that the masseuses would be alone. Again, none of this absolutely says that he's guilty of the accusations. But Rum is right. Better judgment could have kept him out of this situation.
  3. He's speculating... For the moment it's still nine, but yes more coming forward is a possibility.
  4. Diana Russini says the Bears tried to get him to take what she called "a VERY significant pay cut" and he refused. Doesn't sound like he'd have much interest in signing a team friendly deal.
  5. This is encouraging This? Not so much
  6. Pretty sure we'd either have to restructure or cut somebody to pay what he would likely cost. Gantt did say we're not done looking at corners, for what that's worth.
  7. That would make sense. He didn't have a lot of accrued seasons under his belt.
  8. Re-signed Kyle Allen too. (didn't actually know he was a free agent)
  9. Saw him listed at 6'0, 215. Not huge, but don't know that I'd call him "small".
  10. I'm not calling him a liar because I don't know whether he's guilty or not. But the reality is that he might be. He might also be innocent, but either way, having nine or more accusers is a difficult thing to get past.
  11. In the other direction, Tyler Larsen signs with Washington.
  12. The fact that this used to be Richardson's team is a big reason why we shouldn't. It being investigated under the NFL's personal conduct policy is another big reason. The personal conduct policy doesn't require proof, only that the accusations be believable. Trading for him with what's hanging over his head now would be crazy, and not a good kind of crazy.
  13. Nine accusers does look pretty bad. If it goes even higher than that, God help him.
  14. This one reported by Bill Voth. Former Seattle Seahawk... How much cap have we got left?
  15. Eeeehhh, no. You run the risk of trading away picks and players only to see some other bombshell drop after the deal is done. Until this comes to some sort of resolution, the Panthers shouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Honestly, nobody should if they're smart. And if it resolves poorly, welp...
  16. I think the only place Ciara chimed in on was Chicago because she likes it there. The other choices were made by Russ himself.
  17. That was supposed to have been kept confidential. I'd guess the NFL probably would have announced it anyway, but the letter being posted didn't give them much choice.
  18. If the 49ers sign Flacco, I'd say any chance of trading Bridgewater to them is dead.
  19. FYI: Both Tom Pelissero and Jonathan Jones say the NFL, through a spokesman, has confirmed the investigation and that it does fall under their personal conduct policy.
  20. Do we know that there is an overall plan other than "Get a quarterback"?
  21. It might be cleared. It also might not. Either way, barring something insane, I wouldn't put any money on "soon".
  22. For these specific accusations to be false, then all of the women making them would have to be liars. There's really no way around that.
