It's also wrong, and I explained why.
-
Update:
-
Yeah, didn't do any of that, but I can see why you'd want to spin it that way
-
Per his own words, David Tepper "just knew" that Matt Rhule was the right choice.
-
An actual good point from David Newton...
-
The Ram strategy isn't exactly one I'd want to follow. Yes they have a Super Bowl ring but they've really fallen off and it might take them a while to get back. Runningback and receiver aren't "cornerstone" picks. Pass rusher is.
-
I'm sure you guys will love this one...
-
Would you be able to hire somebody? Sure. Are you going to attract the best candidates with that kind of owner? Not necessarily.
-
You'd be correct...
-
Yeah, not going down that road again There's actually a lot of good discussion being had here. Not gonna derail it responding to that kind of silliness.
-
A bit of good news....
-
Another quick FYI... Regarding that hit, this from the guy on the receiving end...
-
"Slow Ass Thielen" has been the best target we've had though.
-
I'd say the receiver spot could be an issue there as well. What you want ideally in a WCO is a set of receivers who have great run after the catch ability. I don't see very much of that on our team.
-
The stories that he was an extremely difficult person to work for are certainly looking more credible at this point.
-
Regardless of who's calling the plays... I know people were looking for the switch from Reich to Brown to make a big difference, it really didn't.
-
The question becomes what will they do in the coming offseason? You certainly can't install an entirely new offense in the middle of the year, but you can tailor the attack to your personal plenty over a full offseason. That, or you can make some changes to the line so that they better fit what you want to run.
-
This is the most important part. Hold off on anything else until this is done.
-
I'd expect he was always going to go into it with a West Coast based scheme. BUT... Per his own words, Reich stated that he wanted to tailor the scheme to fit the players rather than the other way around. It doesn't look like he's doing that.
-
Not if Tepper is still the one making the decisions.
-
One of my biggest complaints in the regular work world was when decisions were made by people who were ill-informed to make those decisions. That's a problem no matter where it happens.
-
Yeah, that guy. My two big complaints about Reich so far are that and questionable depth chart decisions.
-
I haven't followed it super closely, but from what I've seen they sent a staffer named Connor Stallions (apparently his real name) to other games where he managed to get on the sidelines with Google glasses type equipment and steal signs, even from lesser schools like Central Michigan. Word was that Michigan was ready to offer Jim Harbaugh an extension that would have made him the highest paid coach in college football, but now that's been delayed. It's insane.
-
The guy who would have been in the best position to foresee that would have been Reich himself. Nobody was going to know his offense better than him. I would like to know what his opinion of that was, but I doubt we ever will.
-
Bryce defenders, please give me a reason why you're still hopeful
