  1. I probably put that over in the interview thread. I've also discussed it quite a bit with the wife...or rather she's discussed it with me
  2. Read a little about him. His dad apparently has some background in NC.
  3. That's the kinda thing for which experience is the best teacher.
  4. Certainly no fan of Trent Baalke, but damn that's cold
  5. It's been a while since I've looked over the staff list. In all likelihood, the current staff stays at least through April. Scouting department changes tend to happen post draft. Executives though? They're pretty much fair game at any time.
  6. I'd like to see Morgan make some changes to the college coaching staff. The pro staff seems to be doing okay at the moment, and that's Morgan's forté.
  7. Knowing who to hire for your staff is part of being a head coach.
  8. In that same vein... Didn't realize this. Damn, that's just sad
  9. That's a comparison that people would like
  10. Well, this was expected...
  11. Haven't they already taken enough from us?
  12. That'd be interesting And hey, he does fit the "leader of men" profile.
  13. Obviously way too early, but hey... The pre-Panther picks: 1. Titans - QB Cam Ward, Miami 2. Browns - WR/CB Travis Hunter, Colorado 3. Giants - QB Shedeur Sanders, Colorado 4. Patriots - LB Abdul Carter, Penn State 5. Jaguars - CB Will Johnson, Michigan 6. Raiders+ Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona 7. Jets - DL Mason Graham, Michigan (that last one is gonna make some people swear) And the Panthers Pick... LB Jalon Walker, Georgia Here's their writeup: Carolina's defense can best be summarized by a single number. 534. That's the number of points this team allowed in 2024 — the most in the NFL by nearly 60 points. Carolina fortunately saw some of their investments pay off in a big way courtesy of the life we saw from Bryce Young down the stretch. However, the Panthers will need a more balanced roster in 2025, and it would be wise to start looking at pass rushers who can disrupt the pocket. Jalon Walker has great versatility; the skills to rush or play in space will do wonders for the Panthers' ability to disguise calls. Walker is a powerful rusher with a potent first step; those usually don't last long on draft night.
  14. Didn't actually know he was with Denver now...
  15. Do you believe in Williams, though?
  16. Not like it'd be the first time...
  17. Correct. Someone pointed out McCarthy has a pretty good record against the Bears.
  18. Chicago has long been where quarterbacks and offensive coaches go to die.
