  1. The behind the scenes timeline of the negotiations blows up that narrative.
  2. Why would that matter for coaching? A lot of great coaches were mediocre players.
  3. Actually it's a Trapp (might even be a Von Trapp)
  4. I kinda think NFL Plus might be a trial balloon for that.
  5. December 2012... Two hours after a report that Ron Rivera would remain the Carolina Panthers' head coach in 2013, now another report states the opposite -- that Rivera could be fired as early as today. Michael Lombardi of the NFL Network is sticking to his report from last week, reiterating this morning that he expects Ron Rivera will be fired as head coach of the Carolina Panthers today. Reports out of Charlotte indicate Rivera has not talked about his future with players during their exit interviews, which are being conducted this morning. Conventional wisdom among analysts is that Carolina will take their time, and find their new GM prior to deciding on Ron Rivera's future -- but if Lombardi's sources are right, this is going to be a crazy day. 6. To add a little context... Just a few days ago, 4MR said he was tired of talking to Stroud and Young fans so he was going to become a Richardson fan. He's trolling.
  7. I remember Richardson petitioned the league to give us the #1 pick as compensation for Bill Polian. How different our history might have been if that had worked
  8. If it meant getting the stench of Rhule completely off the team I'd support changing their primary colors to lavender and neon green
  9. Odd update from Ian Rapoport... So I guess we can skip Levis since apparently he's already a Colt
  10. If you've listened to Reich talk about what he most values in a quarterback, it wouldn't make a lot of sense. (neither would Levis, honestly)
  11. We talked to Downs at the Combine
  12. Side Note: No indication this guy is visiting with us, but after seeing the name his parents have him, Bumper Pool doesn't sound quite as rough.
  13. Tepper has admitted to his failures, and I consider that a good sign. At the same time though, Tepper isn't really my focus. Fitterer, Morgan, Reich, Suleiman, the rest of the staff and the addition of Adrian Wilson...these are my reasons for encouragement.
