  1. I've gotta get busy but I'm hoping someone who has a minute can summarize who all visited last week just so we know the pool...
  2. Per his own words, Fitterer actually disagrees on that though. He made pretty clear in his statements that he wants the full process to play out, everyone involved to have their say and every little detail examined before making a final decision. And honestly, that's smart. (feels good to be able to say that about a Panther's decision too) We have a process, but thankfully it's a real one and not a Matt Rhule mess.
  3. I'm on Android, but using Brave. Lady Cowboy Fan absolutely loves McAfee
  4. I think he's smarter than Watson. (sure as hell smarter off the field)
  5. Admittedly, there is a part of me that would laugh hysterically. Mind you, that's got nothing to do with The Huddle. It's all the media speculation and everything about it leading up to that point, and then...Boom
  6. We had some speculation about who it is in the presser thread but I'm curious who others think it might be.
  7. Just as an aside, I have come to hate pro comps. I get the idea behind them but it's gotten kind of ridiculous.
  8. "As of right now, I don't see..." Yeah (that's about as flexible as Olivia Dunne)
  9. I know there had been word that Levis at least was scheduled earlier and then had to be rescheduled for some reason. Might be true of Stroud as well. Don't know.
  10. I definitely think they have ideas, but when they say the final decision isn't made I don't think they're lying. When they say they didn't want to contaminate the process by settling on a certain player too early, it makes a load of sense. Mentioned before that Shanahan and Lynch did the same thing in San Francisco when they took Lance. (I just really hope we make a better decision than they did)
  11. I get it, but seriously... Rhule at a WWE thing is just hilarious
  12. Which, objectively speaking, is probably the truth. Ya gotta figure he's going #1 or #2. What's the point?
  13. Perhaps As the aforementioned DJ Moore can attest though, anything is possible these days.
  14. (easier to just start a new thread than resurrect the old one)
  15. I don't think they've told anybody because I don't think the pick is made yet. They've repeated multiple times that it isn't. "Leaning" maybe, but nothing definitive.
  16. Yeah, it does Thankfully, he's busy elsewhere... I was watching that with Lady Cowboy Fan. When Michael Cole said "He's gonna turn this program around", she responded with "Yeah, he sure turned the Panthers around". (beaten to the punch In my own home)
  17. I'd say DJ Moore wearing a Bears uniform is pretty solid proof of that.
  18. Scott Fitterer...but you also have to be very careful to understand what he's saying and what he isn't. Like a typical GM, nearly all of what he says is couched in 'flexible" language, i.e. "we don't foresee this', "we think we'll do that", etc. Keeping options open is something a smart team does. And yes, I do think we can know be considered a smart team.
  19. Agreed. As has been said many times, it's not his size that scares me. It's a question of durability. I don't want him to be Wilson, but Wilson has been fairly durable for the most part. I'd definitely take that part of his game.
  20. Fair I've said before that him being the quarterback of a team who has Sam Mills as a big part of their history is a hell of a story. That seems to be the thing.
  21. Hell, we still might. If there's one thing this current regime seems to be extremely good at, it's protecting information. We used to be able to see a lot more things ahead of time. These days there's an awful lot of surprises. (the Appaloosa Way is pretty much dead and buried)
  22. Don't know, but we have had a couple of recent idiots join up. I think those of us who have seen Chuck's many identities have a built in paranoia Honestly I'm kind of surprised Dr Lunker doesn't seem to have returned, but given that this offseason destroyed a lot of his running narrative I guess I shouldn't be.
