  1. They have the top pick. They've got zero reason to troll anybody. They do have reason to get the Texans thinking about it though.
  2. Person has only said he's "in the conversation" so he'd still realistically be an outside chance. He ultimately thinks it'll still be Stroud or Young even if a trade down happens.
  3. RapSheet confirms... DC fans' long national nightmare might be over.
  4. Save the effort. I agree and that's what I've seen as well. Edit: Beat me to it
  5. I'm sure the teams do. But it's worth remembering that this is a test of only one aspect of the game. And while it's an important one, it's not a be all, end all. Just as an example, what good is being able to process information quickly if you can't throw an accurate pass to your target?
  6. Fitterer has final say. But I think they'd work as hard as possible to avoid an impasse.
  7. Also basketball related...
  8. Insatiable thirst for Panthers news? Yeah. Insatiable thirst for Panthers opinions? Eeehhh
  9. There's also risk involved in trading for an established property too. Just ask the Denver Broncos
  10. It should definitely be a very short list. The idea of having the top pick is to get you someone who will be just as good as those guys in a few years, but you have him from the beginning.
  11. Not crazy at all. It hinges on the Panthers having conviction for more than one quarterback, something which pretty much all reports say is true. So if you do the trade, you still get a quarterback you were willing to take at #1, plus you get additional picks. I really can't see where that's a bad deal. Do the Texans make an offer? Gun to my head I'd say no, but I'd also point out that weirder things have happened.
  12. I would love #2 and #12, but I'd also accept #2 and #33 or #2 and next year's first.
