Mentions Nebraska... "Won't touch that too much longer"

I've noticed that in the videos posted so far with members of our new staff, several of them have closed out their clips with "keep pounding".

This work?

Don't forget for three of the last five seasons, this was our GM.

Sad news If the Colts could have kept Ventrone, they'd have been the only staff in the NFL with both a Bubba and a Jim Bob. (granted, having that stuff be located in Indianapolis does kinda take away from it)

Oh, absolutely. I've said before that Jerry Richardson's biggest sin (besides Jeans Day) was trusting the wrong people, particularly Marty. Then you move on to Tepper, who not only makes the same mistake but does so with the same guy. It may not necessarily be that David Tepper suddenly became football smart so much as he finally got a better idea who else was...and who wasn't.

It's not the money he's spending. It has a lot more to do with whether or not he's trying to make decisions he's not really qualified to make himself or he's letting the people who genuinely are qualified do so. That's what's of prime importance to me.

Thomas Brown and Duce Staley are set to speak to the media today. No official word yet on the times, but the last few have been in the 11:00 hour. (also no word on whether Staley's will include a 7 second delay, but it might not be a bad idea) In the meantime...

Honestly, I've thought a few times over the last couple of seasons that we might have been better suited to a 3-4 than a 4-3. That may well have to do with going after the kind of personnel that we needed to work in Phil Snow's defense. -
That time of year again...

Retired Vikings executive Jeff Diamond puts Jones value at around 37.5 million a season.

I can't say what Rhule's reputation within the NFL was at the time, but from what I've read it sounds like most of the "hype" came from the media. I guess that coupled with some meatballs gets you 63 million.

So The 33rd Team posted a graphic comparing the Jets leading passer rating over the last several seasons to Carr's rating that same year. Carr wins nearly every comparison (including three over Darnold) but check out the lone guy that beat him... He looks familiar

And Austin Corbett...

I think his exact words were that Horn "oozes football knowledge"
