  1. Sorry pal, but you're off there. Less time as a coordinator maybe, but he's actually been coaching longer than any of that bunch. Worth remembering that coordinators and head coaches have different skill sets.
  2. Like Denver did for Wilson and Cleveland did for Watson?
  3. Yeah, I'd call bullsh-t. Another Panthers Twitter posted that we were interviewing Phil Snow.
  4. Or misinformation It's a time-honored tactic.
  5. Having seen his wife, I probably wouldn't question him
  6. Also, to anyone thinking Jim Caldwell might be an OC candidate... That could of course change if such an opportunity doesn't arise for him.
  7. To answer the question, this would be considered the Colts.
  8. I think at this point, we can fairly comfortably say he's not going to be part of the process.
  9. We're certainly approaching the season for it.
  10. That'd seem like a legitimate possibility...
  11. Being reported that Ryans is out for now
  12. There's talk he might go back to the Texans. (there's also talk he might avoid them entirely) They'll need to work something out with Mayo now to complete their Rooney Rule obligations, or they'll have to call someone else.
  13. Not clear. Are you saying he's more experienced than those guys or less experienced?
  14. Might be bullsh-t, but I think we knew something like this was a possibility when our draft position started dropping. And while I agree quarterback is our biggest need, would it really be wise to draft someone they didn't think was worth a first round pick just to take one?
  15. I would imagine Dan Morgan and perhaps Pat Stewart are part of the search as well.
  16. Be reported that McVay is sticking around after all
  17. It's the Reid question. His coaching tree is better than Belichicks, but it's also had some fairly notable failures.
  18. Buffalo took their head coach from the Panthers. It worked out okay.
  19. Any faith I have in Tepper would be based in the idea of him sitting back, keeping his trap shut and letting the football people make the call. If he does that, I'll feel okay. If not, then I'll worry
  20. That depends on the offense. If you do things the way we've typically done them, yeah I'd agree. But the Shanahan's approach makes a huge difference.
  21. I get that. The problem is you want to give him credit for the good without accepting any blame for the bad. And using your logic, there would be plenty of that. It also helps to understand that an NFL quarterback's primary job isn't to be the offense himself, it's to get the ball to playmakers and let them do the work. This is again why wins and losses are a team stat, not an individual stat.
  22. And yet you want to hold a runningback more responsible for losses than you do a quarterback.. Your position is totally inconsistent.
