This is kind of a key phrase. Damn near everybody likes Steve Wilks, and likewise everyone respects him. But do we believe he's capable of leading the team to become a perennial contender? I think we want to. He's like that person you dated that you aren't really attracted to but you like so much you wish you were. Over time though, you come to understand that's just not gonna happen

Attacking “glass half full” posters after a loss…

None of this is fun. -
My second choice...

If they have a top ten pick, I can't imagine them not taking a quarterback.

The playoffs pushed back
-
Plus we have a decent array of picks after the first for roster building.
-
Can't see it. From what I've read, Tomlin still has more away than anyone else in their building right now. Colbert's gone, Khan just got there, and the Steelers are still the organization that never fires coaches.

Gotta think the Wilks train took a major hit today, and may even have derailed entirely. I like Wilks...a lot, but I have a hard time picturing him getting the full time job.
-
To their credit, they didn't shackle him today. Can't blame it on playcalling...
-
Yeah... wouldn't bet on that
-
And I can't even enjoy that
-
Sad but true...

One way to put it... To top it off, I watched the game with Lady Cowboy Fan and her mega Steeler Fan sister. Then once it was over, watched the Cowboys lose to the Jags, annoying LCF. Rough day at my house

One where the Steelers didn't look like the team I'm used to seeing. They still have plenty of good players, and Trubisky was decent, but it was still ugly.
-
I saw several. They played poorly overall, but still better than we did. That...sucks
-
I'd have settled for beating them once
-
The Steelers looked awful. They were undisciplined, arrogant, dumb, sloppy and overall just looked as poorly coached as I've seen any Steelers team look in a long, long time. But still beat us

Bad is putting it nicely for Pittsburgh. They were undisciplined, sloppy and too frequently just plain stupid. They gave us plenty of chances we didn't earn.
-
Don't know if it's over, but I would say the Wilks train took a pretty big hit today
-
Damn, that sounds familiar
-
I'm guessing a lot of people who stopped paying attention for a while have similar sentiments

First time playcaller doesn't exactly help matters...

I was out helping the lady do some Christmas shopping with her sister but the game updates made me turn on NFL Plus
