  1. For who? Anybody that's available right now is unemployed for a reason.
  2. Last week the Bengals sold out against the run trying to force PJ to pass. Won't be surprised if Atlanta does the same.
  3. Mark Davis has stated that he's not going to fire him this season. Could change I suppose, but...
  4. Wilks said the short week factored into it I get that, but still...
  5. Better owner than Tepper I'd agree with (at least so far). "Pretty good" though? Can't sign on to that.
  6. Lady Cowboy Fan and I were laughing too Caught his comments about Evan Cooper earlier as well.
  7. So spoken by Smitty on the NFL Network Pre-Game show. From a comment made after Cooper was dismissed...
  8. I've long had a suspicion regarding the specifics of the racism incident. Khary Darlington was a member of the Panthers scouting department, and a guy whose name was on the rise. He was reported to be one of the people who most went to bat for drafting Cam Newton in 2011, among other things. And then one day, he just disappeared. No news announcement, no word of his being fired, nothing about him taking another job, nada. Almost like the scenario you'd expect to see from someone who signed a non-disclosure agreement for a huge payday and then retired
  9. I'll check it out. Just off the top of my head, I'd imagine he could potentially pull from his former staff with the Colts or maybe even reach back to some of his prior connections with Doug Pederson's staff in Philly. One thing I feel pretty comfortable saying: He's probably not gonna reach out to Jeff Saturday about calling plays
  10. Kinda like when Jerry Richardson thought the league would back him up with his "internal investigation" thing. Difference being Snyder tried to intimidate them into it. Both moves turned out about the same. If I recall correctly, he actually did destroy the Spygate evidence.
  11. I wouldn't claim to know much about land deals or bankruptcy procedures, but I think most people at least raise an eyebrow when they see something about the Department of Justice getting involved That you, Dr. Lunker?
  12. The decision to hire him in the first place wasn't exactly a stroke of genius.
  13. Mike Kaye adds Shane Waldron to the list…
  14. The Athletic chronicled this year's biggest NFL booboos, and I doubt the inclusion of this particular move will shock anyone... Panthers sticking with Matt Rhule Despite poor decisions on quarterback acquisitions and 23 losses in his first two seasons, Matt Rhule earned the vote of confidence entering Year 3. However, few — if any — around the league believed Panthers owner David Tepper was truly sold on Rhule. The suspicions were justified when Rhule was fired after a 1-4 start. Then the Panthers traded Christian McCaffrey to San Francisco, signaling the start of a rebuild that could have commenced this past offseason had Tepper hit the reset button then. Interim coach Steve Wilks now finds himself in a virtually impossible situation. And with the team spiraling further, he just fired two of Rhule’s former assistants, after two others got the axe in October when Rhule was dismissed. The NFL's biggest blunders
  15. Im always the guy who reads the questions cause my friends won't let me play anymore
