    But hadn't even beaten Ohio State till the past few years. Point of the discussion there though was our increasingly angry sounding friend's suggestion that the 49ers were doing lousy since Harbaugh. Objectively speaking, they're actually doing pretty well right now.

    Game of the day so far looks to be Commanders-Giants, though Eagles-Titans is looking pretty good too.

    Well, the "batsh-t" folks made it back to the Super Bowl. They didn't win, but then neither did Harbaugh when he went. Michigan is still waiting on that National Championship game.

    If all you care about is short-term success, sure. Guys who hate you won't necessarily keep playing hard for you over an extended time.

    Because some guys are way better suited to coaching college kids than they are grown adults. Harbaugh is one of those guys. And for the record, I think head coaches having full control is generally a sh-tty model no matter who the coach is.

    I honestly haven't seen anybody else going that route. That said, I've really only heard of Olivia Dunne through news stories. There could be others out there.

    Equally big question: How practical is it to compete In an outfit like that? (reminds me of the various comic book superheroines who choose to fight evil while wearing a thong)

    To be fair, the average strip club in any college town is gonna employ a fair number of students. And of course you've got your fair share of models, etc. It's just never really been funneled through the athletics department before.

    Lady Cowboy Fan made a similar comparison. Women have been able to make a living off of saying "hey look at me, I'm hot" for decades. Technology had already made it easier than ever, and now the NIL rules have basically opened up a new avenue for that segment of the population.
