Fitterer has competition, I guess...
-
Gotcha. My guess is he probably wouldn't have made it over Kalon Barnes if he hadn't left for Miami.
-
The way the NFL counts it, you have to appear in a certain number of games to get credit for an accrued season.

Corral vs the rest of the rookie field

Reagor was drafted in the first round of the 2020 Draft...
-
I was wondering
-
I don't know much about it but the people who have been to it before seem pretty pissed off.

From that same article... Barnes played for Rhule at Baylor, where he also ran track early in his career. Barnes has a long, 6-foot-1 frame and was one of the fastest players at the combine this year. But the Panthers were willing to risk losing Barnes on waivers more so than Marquan McCall, the humongous (6-3, 379) defensive tackle from Kentucky who was the only undrafted free agent to make the initial 53. In addition to McCall, the Panthers also held on to all of their young, drafted defensive tackles. That left them with six guys on the defensive interior, a spot that likely remains in flux.
-
Only three guys on the current PS with more than two years of accrued experience: Robinson, Thompson and Burris. You can have up to six of those guys and we have two available spots left.
-
Also probably worth noting that with only 14 signed, there are technically two spots left...
-
Tecklenburg, Robinson and Burris back... Deonte Brown back... Hayes, Wright and Lovett are guys the fans liked... No CJ Saunders... Not bringing Zylstra back is kind of surprising...
-
Anybody here done this before? Not familiar with it myself but I've seen a few people online pissed about it not being free anymore. And granted, from free to $350 a person is a pretty steep price increase

Sam Darnold is expected to be placed on IR to make room for Eddy Piñeiro. Some of the "corresponding cuts" made today could involve players of interest.
-
They're subject to waiver claims if they have less than four years of accrued experience. If they clear waivers, then they can sign anywhere. Once they're actually on a practice squad, you can only poach them if you sign them to your active roster.
-
Shoo somebody off your lawn. It'll make you feel better
-
I know some people were interested in Verity before we signed Piñeiro, but apparently he's got an injury.
-
Danny Shelton back to the Chiefs...
-
I'd sign this guy on name alone
-
If this kid's name was mentioned a single time during preseason, I've completely forgotten it.
-
I knew he went to Baylor, but I looked him up to see if he was from Florida and maybe just wanted to be closer to home. He's actually from Texas, technically closer to home I suppose but...

Grier and Rush as well..
-
Cowboys brought both back...

One player lost...
