  1. I'd actually be amused if they started filming commercials in his "new house".
  2. I don't know that at all. I'm not a fan of him, and I wasn't a fan of this trade, but I wouldn't guarantee he's going to be terrible.
  3. Yeah...can't see that at all. Pretty sure keeping PJ Walker over Matt Corral would be Matt Rhule's fast track ticket to the unemployment line.
  4. Apparently posted on Instagram yesterday... I would assume it has nothing to do with Baker Mayfield.
  5. Didn't say I wanted us to do it. I actually didn't. But it's done...
  6. I don't think this trade was about Corral. The only honest to goodness effect I see this having on him is that he's now even less likely to play this season than he already was. But again, it was never about him.
  7. We were literally negotiating this trade at the time we drafted Corral. You have an immediate starter on a one-year deal for minimal cash and a rookie who gets to sit back and learn. Speaking as someone who cares neither for Baker Mayfield nor Matt Rhule, I can objectively say that's not a bad arrangement.
  8. ...coached by an OC who didn't like either of them the year they were drafted "May you live in interesting times" -Chinese saying
  9. Speaking objectively... This is a really well administered trade when you look at what we gave up and what we're paying. Speaking personally... I'm not a Baker Mayfield fan, but I'll hope for the best.
  10. Mayfield is under contract for one year. Nothing about this trade makes Corral a wasted pick.
  11. My advice? Avoid bringing up that part about how happy endings aren't technically illegal
  12. Ron Rivera made Donte Jackson look like a lower round rookie. He'd certainly had some good games prior to that, but boy did he crash afterward. That game is probably the greatest illustration I ever saw of the old saying "What I created, I can also destroy".
  13. Yep, and pretty much all of them about the topic of football. (funny how that works) I've also learned that when people can't come up with a good response, they switch to talking about things like post count
  14. You were talking about clicks in the context of a post I made of a Person tweet. As far as the Ledger, Jackie Lee's post above is accurate. Likewise, seriously doubt anyone here on a football board (except maybe you and Dr Lunkhead) gives enough of a sh-t to actually listen to a livestream of a David Tepper bankruptcy hearing. Did you genuinely think people are gonna go to that kind of length just to hear something bad about Tepper? Most of us here have lives.
  15. You mean Sizzlebuzz / Dr. Lunkhead's favorite news source? Don't follow them so can't speak on what they reported. Who gives a sh-t about clicks?
  16. Person's only reporting the decision. In previous articles where actual business analysis might have been needed, he's deferred to guys like Erik Spanberg and Daniel Kaplan.
  17. On the plus side, there's stuff like this... Said it more than once. I think the saving grace of our defense is good personnel. The weakness has been in the coaching, particularly Phil Snow.
  18. I wonder how many times God's been thanked that we didn't get this guy
  19. Have said the same. We feasted in early games but after week 4 or 5 we really weren't very good. There are certainly good personnel on that side of the ball but defensive coaching last year was heavily overrated.
  20. Probably a lot easier to do when you don't actually read it (as I suspect some haven't).
  21. I can't fault anybody for this deal. McLaurin is really good.
