There's definitely something current, and that's what McCoy is hinting at. The record could still be an issue for some though. I'd say it might be a combination of the two.

Plenty of teams have produced winning programs in less time. "You are what your record says you are" was your standard. By that standard (again, as applied by you) David Tepper is, after four years under his watch, a sh-tty owner. No amount of attempted spin will change that. I'd guess that he might not like hearing that you consider him terrible at his job.

To be fair, even something intended as a joke gets a lot more serious when you're surrounded and someone puts their hand on your neck. At the time it happened, the story got Bieniemy banned from the campus so I'd say they took it pretty seriously.

Also, it's not exactly unheard of for a guy to talk one way when he's part of a team and another way after he leaves them. Time frame on those comments would probably be helpful.

Kinda like LaCanfora. He can be hit or miss. Just a little while back, he absolutely guaranteed there was no way in hell that Deshaun Watson would end up in Cleveland. Obviously, he's taken a lot of grief for that.

Reasonable to question... I know Ben Albright has been mentioned as somebody who's spoken about this. I haven't seen any of that but maybe others have.

Does that mesh with Reid, though? Reid doesn't seem like that type. He's right in at least one sense though. Bieniemy keeps getting interviewed but not hired. Gotta figure there is some reason for that.

I've heard that before, and apparently it's something Ben Albright brings up frequently. (I haven't followed Albright that much in the past but maybe someone who has can elaborate) Past discussion has been about his criminal record but McCoy seems to think it's more about what kind of person / coach Bieniemy is.

How tall is Rhule anyway? I googled it and only found one reference that has him at 6 ft but that seems high.
