Quick Tip: Calling your opinion a fact actually makes your take look even worse. The notion that Marty deserved credit for rosters he didn't build back then was stupid, but even that wasn't as absolutely dipsh-t goofy as giving him any sort of credit for Fitterer's work now. Hell, some of Fitt's best work involved getting anything in return for some of the crap Hurney left behind.

Side Note: I've already suffered a near injury as a result of Lady Cowboy Fan's exuberant celebrating. Still a quarter and a half to go

Reminder: During the second round of the 2020 Draft, the Eagles scouts had Jeremy Chinn at the top of their draft board. GM Howie Roseman stepped in and drafted Jalen Hurts instead. Whether or not it was mandated by owner Jeffrey Lurie is unknown. Roseman has been known to cover for Lurie before.

That pick happens regardless of whether the receiver falls down or not.

There is a resemblance...

Mike Martz's version of the Coryell didn't really use the tight end much.

So far, the Eagles look like sh-t.

Evan Cooper is one of Rhule's most trusted assistants. He was also the first guy to suggest getting Teddy Bridgewater, so...

This was always one of the dumbest takes found on this board, but amazingly it got even dumber with this post.

FYI Panthers still have 5 draft picks next year

About one season. I expect we'll see some changes nest year. -

Im not sure which option is worse. Guess a Panthers win is better because at least then I've got something to be happy about. -

To be fair, that's kind of like telling your wife "Honey, you've got about a minute so get as much out of it as you can" -

I'm not that lucky. I know how she is. If the Panthers win, she's gonna be annoyed (especially if I act too happy). If the Cowboys win, I'm gonna be hearing about it for the rest of the season. Hell, last week when the Cowboys beat the Chargers at the last minute, she celebrated so hard I took a back fist to the face -
Panthers about to trade for CJ Henderson?!?!

Think maybe it's time one of the mods changed the title of this thread? -

It's not about fantasy. I wish it were. You'll often see me refer to Mrs. Scot by the name "Lady Cowboy Fan". She's a diehard Dallas fan, the kind nobody can stand. I bought her a Cowboys mini helmet. She says she'd like to get it autographed by Jerry Jones -

I'm hoping we did -
Panthers were in trade talks for CJ even before Horn was injured

Panthers about to trade for CJ Henderson?!?!
Mr. Scot replied to joemac's topic in Carolina Panthers
There's a lot of background to it, but basically it just sounds like he didn't want to be in Jacksonville in the first place and things only got worse when Meyer took over. Meyer and the Jags had been shopping him for months. -
Definitely. Guessing Marty didn't exactly see that coming.

You wanna give jimmy Clausen credit for the passes he completed too? It was mostly misses, and three winning seasons out of fifteen is awful no matter how you spin it. Throw in that of you wanna talk "ignoring success", how do you ignore 2015 in your assessment of DG? As to hiring Rhule, yeah I'm pretty happy about that because it was a big factor in getting Marty fired. So there's that...
