Also gotta remember the season is 17 games this year.
-
I remember when the NFC East was one of the strongest divisions in football. Last year, the entire division was elephant sh-t. If all four teams improve this season, maybe they'll be upgraded to horse sh-t, but it'll still be sh-t.

Sam Darnold , other starters WILL play Saturday.

I was trying to be positive -
It is still preseason for them too. That said, I'm actually expecting the Eagles to be terrible this year.

I'm not gonna get to see this game but it sounds interesting.

I see from your other tweet that it looks like we're also going with a two left tackle formation. I mean, we haven't had a single answer there for a few years now, so I suppose it's worth a try
-
So we only had nine players on defense yet we still looked good? Wow (Hi, John)

This is one of those times where you go "Wow! We could get a former first rounder for cheap!" Then you go "Wait, why are they so willing to part with him?"

Back when I worked in a call center, I jokingly said that while we were walking out of the building during a fire drill. My manager wasn't amused

Most of what I've seen written about Dillard hasn't exactly been complementary. Guys do sometimes benefit from fresh starts (we're certainly hoping one does here already) but I wouldn't give up much.

An awful lot of NFL analysts think he'll be suiting up as the week one starter. Mind you, an advertising image from the league's marketing people doesn't really affect that decision.
-
I'd trade Greg Little for him

To be fair, none of us knows how serious Perryman's injury is. It could legitimately be something that he shouldn't play through. And heaven knows we've seen examples of guys short circuiting themselves by playing sooner than they ought to have. Now with that said, the phrase "you can't make the club from the tub" is a very valid observation. -
I try to go into every season as even keeled as possible. That's honestly easier to do this year because there's a boatload of things that we just don't know.
-
Nagy has been saying consistently that his plan is to stick with Dalton as their starter for a while, maybe the whole season. It's not a bad practice to let a rookie sit for a year, but a lot of people question just how committed to that strategy he'll be if the Bears start losing.
-
So apparently the joint practice between the Rams and the Raiders was...competitive. So competitive in fact that the coaches called it off with one session left
-
That's technically not media. It's the NFL.

Carolina Panthers - Baltimore Ravens Joint Practice 2

"Going down" and "passing the rock to PJ" are synonymous. -
It's a valid observation. Might be tough for some of the older veterans too, especially those dealing with prior injury issues. (of which we have a few)
-
I'm pretty sure most people get that. And yeah...

WFT has narrowed down their list of potential new names

Isn't that the name of the Harlem Globetrotters perpetual opponent? -
Couple of weeks, according to Gantt...

Anybody else remember Tom Coughlin's "Concentration Line" back when he was coaching the Jags? (Coughlin is one of Rhule's coaching influences)
