  1. No, we don't "all know it" but it really doesn't matter either way. Regardless of what your feelings are, I wouldn't put any bets on Watson being a Panther at this point.
  2. Sounded like the Eagles had it in the works before the latest news came out, but now that's been shot down too. Still think that's where he likely ends up...if he ends up anywhere. But with his own lawyers talking about indictments, doesn't sound good.
  3. Okay, if we're gonna get into a heavy debate about chicken sandwiches, I see no way this doesn't end in violence
  4. Well, at least the wild overreactions on the Huddle will be entertaining
  5. I'm blanking on the name of the douchebag that came before him, the guy that went to Fox Sports. Riveron was at least better than that guy. Edit: Looked him up, Dean Blandino.
  6. Fair enough. It's pretty much an annual event at this point anyway.
  7. Uuuuhhh no, it doesn't... at all. Nevermind that signing anybody "to put butts in seats" is a flat out stupid argument to begin with, but given that his own legal team now thinks there's a high probability of his being indicted, no way. Nobody puts "butts in seats" when they're not on the field.
  8. That was sudden. I haven't really been a big fan of Al Riveron anyway, but now an old friend of ours will be taking some of his duties.
  9. Remind me: Wasn't Bouye supposed to start the season suspended for a couple of games anyway? Feels like it was either him or Rashaan Melvin.
  10. I know it's just preseason and it's not the Panthers, but I haven't seen real football in months. So yes, it counts.
  11. We will get to see Dwayne Haskins though
  12. If it helps, David Moore the lineman is a "Junior".
  13. Sort of NFL football. It is the Cowboys.
  14. Eeehhh, Jonathan Stewart used to go entire preseasons barely practicing but he still played. We'll see what happens.
  15. I guess Andy Kaufman was never official. Ouch!
  16. Neither, I'm afraid. You were wrong, dude. It happens. Let it go and move on.
  17. I was sitting just a few feet away from a big Rams fan when it happened. Good memories
  18. Meanwhile in Denver... I know we had some pro-Teddy trolls predicting he'd go to Denver and make us regret letting go of him. This probably isn't good news for them
  19. Not that familiar with Whippleman. Definitely wouldn't want to be Bearer.
  20. You know back when I was in like fourth or fifth grade, a good friend of mine always had parlay cards. I remember thinking, "Hey, I get to pick football games, cool". Little did I know...
  21. So you've given up on the whole "Appaloosa Model, Tepper runs everything" schtick and you're going with this now, eh? Okay, but still wrong. Rhule himself has said that he isn't a "run everything" guy. He acknowledged that Fitterer ran the Draft ("masterfully" he said in fact) and free agency. You can pretty easily look up the quotes yourself, or take the even easier route and just rewatch Panthers confidential. It's all there.
  22. Can't remember who, but somebody recently said they found Hurney 2.0 was superior to Hurney 1.0. I just can't see it. Regardless of what you attribute it to, at least Marty Part 1 did have some level of success. Part Deux never even managed a winning season.
