Loved the little back and forth between Smitty and McCown Smith used to call McCown "White Vick" when he played. First game he ever played against us he ran all over the place.

But Bryce Young did good on a test...right??

I'm always gonna be nervous before a draft, but I agree. -
How come? Main thing I noticed is he's got a really high release point, but that's not an issue. Overall I thought it looked pretty standard.

Really nice vid...

With the staff we had at the time, his career would have been over before it began. Brees didn't really become elite until he was paired with Sean Payton.

Albert Breer on Panthers #1 pick (no trade back)

They certainly didn't take him along on the pro day tour so he could judge the cap implications of each rookie -

It isn't. -
Didn't work for Richardson. He floated the idea of an internal investigation, likely thinking that the league would back him up. They didn't. Snyder? It's hard to understand, but one possibility might be that some other owners don't want the skeletons in their closets to come out.

His year with us was nothing special but he did have a good career.

His brother Jason has some major character concerns (their mom was kinda out there too)

Richardson got pretty bitter about it shortly before the end. Probably because he didn't get the price he thought he could get but I also kinda got the impression he didn't necessarily want to sell to Tepper. Tepper has since all but erased Richardson from Panthers history.

How many current NFL QBs would you trade #1 overall for?
Mr. Scot replied to panther4life's topic in Carolina Panthers
That wasn't a trade. The Colts released him. -
My favorite Snyder story was when Jay Gruden talked about their draft process When it came our time to pick, we’d always talk about the picks, where we’d like to go, what happens if the player is gone, and did all our scenarios. And then Dan Snyder would come in and make the pick.

Also not a visit, but an interesting story...

I'd say that's an overestimation, but either way, not in Reich's offense.

Deep dropbacks combined with an "average" arm would definitely give me pause.
