We have our coaches. What schemes will we run?
Mr. Scot replied to Cam's New Arm's topic in Carolina Panthers
Found it... McCown's technically been part of several systems -

I get it All indications are we're gonna be running a 4-3 defense, but as was noted elsewhere there's a mix of styles on the offensive side. (I'll see if I can find the tweet) -

We did hire the OC. We're still missing WR, TE and Strength and Conditioning coaches, plus any additional staff they might add. So yeah, not quite full...but close. The major spots are filled, at least. -
Would you trade 9 for Fields - straight up?

Nah. Just still laughing at your pettyness -
They did

He could always just bring back Joe Kenn

Not quite, unless you've seen some news I haven't -
Tepper himself admitted what a lot of us suspected, that he came into the league thinking he was gonna do things differently, shake things up and prove that he was the smartest guy in the room. He also confessed to having learned that there's a reason why some things are done the way they are. I give him credit for that. Everyone should.

Nah. I wanna remember every second. It makes future success that much sweeter.

Side Note: Edgar Salmingo is wrong for tweeting this picture...

Yeah sure You just also want people you disagree with to be mad and unhappy. Same as with your long-running feud with people who were fans of Christian McCaffrey, who you hoped would get traded (again, just to make people mad) regardless of whether it was the best thing for the team or not. You're pretty transparent. -
Objectively speaking, it's a really good staff. More than one NFL analyst has said as much.

A portion of Reich's Colt staff was actually assembled by Josh McDaniels. I don't know how large a portion, but I do know DC Matt Eberflus was a McDaniels hire. He tweaked it during his time there but this time it's all him. Fitterer and Morgan get credit for hiring Reich, but head coaches assemble their own staff. There are one or two connections from their Seattle days but those could just as easily be coincidental or just guys Reich asked about.

Interesting twist regarding Lamar Jackson...
Mr. Scot replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah...this sort of statement is never true. -
A troll did...

Tepper did what so many of us hoped he would, sat back and let his football people work. The result? They hired a smart man who's now hiring more smart people while Tepper just sits back and writes checks. It's exactly what we wanted.

There's the announcement. And again, hell yeah

Breer said the Saints might be interested in Baker Mayfield.

That pic works for Matt Rhule too...
-
That's a good hire...

Aaron Rodgers "darkness retreat" seems to be a lot of fun for NFL reporters

Favorite quote from this article... "...further from the charred remnants of the Matt Rhule era." Kudos to Person for "charred remnants". That's an image I'll associate with the Matt Rhule era from here on out

Nobody on our staff (to date) has any direct connection to Carr that I've seen (not that I've looked that hard) but there was a report from CBS Sports that Frank Reich wanted to trade for him last year before the Colts ultimately chose Matt Ryan.
