  1. I'm certainly not an Irsay apologist, but this is one of those cases where (paraphrasing the old saying) I don't think you have to blame 'racist' for what can easily be explained by 'drunk and stupid'.
  2. Don't claim to be, but I have watched my fair share of press conferences and things of that sort. And I'll say again, if you don't come out of that one encouraged, you're probably making an effort not to be. Hearing the way Reich talks and getting to see the depth of his football understanding is a huge breath of fresh air after dealing with three years of Matt Rhule. We have a coach now who not only has a track record of NFL success (I mean, one of his protegés is coaching in the Super Bowl next weekend) but who pretty clearly grasps deep concepts and details regarding the game. Even more encouraging, he can explain them. You can choose to be as unhappy as you want about this hire for whatever reason, but the vast majority of the rest of us are actually looking forward to football season for the first time in a couple of years. If you don't want to be part of that, that's on you.
  3. Will Kunkel's interview with Reich is set to air this evening I think... Either way, I'm pretty sure fans will much prefer this answer over talking about "a seven year plan"
  4. From just last week... Former Colts coach Frank Reich is emerging as a top head coaching candidate for multiple teams You really don't seem to have the slightest clue what you're talking about
  5. I kept waiting for somebody to walk out to a WWE style intro package
  6. Things like four pillars, three principles, five traits, etc all definitely point to some sermon preparation training
  7. There were three or four times in the presser where someone asked a two-part question and he neglected to answer the second part of it. Someone will probably overreact to that
  8. Fair point. I generally refer to it as the Horsesh-t Model.
  9. If you don't come out of watching that presser encouraged, it's probably because you went into it determined not to be.
  10. Side Note: Anish Shroff is a very good public speaker
  11. No he didn't. To be honest, I came away from that presser feeling like he's probably willing to answer some questions and be more open about stuff that management might prefer he not.
  12. He's talking about balance, but also emphasized that however many times you pass, your quarterback has to be able to pass effectively.
  13. Pretty clear he never fully heard it Liked what he said though
  14. Confirmed Fitterer will have final say on the roster, Reich of course controls who plays on gameday
  15. Not that it's a huge standard, but it's pretty easy to tell he knows more about football than Rhule ever did
