    The Lions defense was sh-t. Johnson getting interviews is justified. The fact that a few teams have also asked to interview Aaron Glenn is what I find baffling.

    We have smarter people making the pool. Was Rhule really that popular a choice last time around? I remember maybe a few people liking him but I don't think it was anything close to a majority.

    Maybe in the past, when the game was simpler and there weren't additional factors like a salary cap to deal with, I'd have agreed. These days though, it's highly rare to see that sort of model work. Overall, I'm not a fan of Tepper's football decision making, but in this case I think he's getting it right.

    Can't say for certain, but it honestly sounds like the Panthers didn't bother requesting. So basically, we wound up pursuing neither Payton nor Harbaugh.
