Sorry pal, but you're off there. Less time as a coordinator maybe, but he's actually been coaching longer than any of that bunch. Worth remembering that coordinators and head coaches have different skill sets.
-
Like Denver did for Wilson and Cleveland did for Watson?
-
Yeah, I'd call bullsh-t. Another Panthers Twitter posted that we were interviewing Phil Snow.

Scott Fowler Observer column on coaching hire
Mr. Scot replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Wait...I mean, why would I care? -
Or misinformation It's a time-honored tactic.
-
Having seen his wife, I probably wouldn't question him
-
Also, to anyone thinking Jim Caldwell might be an OC candidate... That could of course change if such an opportunity doesn't arise for him.
-
To answer the question, this would be considered the Colts.
-
I think at this point, we can fairly comfortably say he's not going to be part of the process.
-
We're certainly approaching the season for it.
-
That'd seem like a legitimate possibility...

Being reported that Ryans is out for now
-
There's talk he might go back to the Texans. (there's also talk he might avoid them entirely) They'll need to work something out with Mayo now to complete their Rooney Rule obligations, or they'll have to call someone else.
-
Not clear. Are you saying he's more experienced than those guys or less experienced?
-
Might be bullsh-t, but I think we knew something like this was a possibility when our draft position started dropping. And while I agree quarterback is our biggest need, would it really be wise to draft someone they didn't think was worth a first round pick just to take one?
-
Be reported that McVay is sticking around after all
-
Buffalo took their head coach from the Panthers. It worked out okay.
-
I'd call this good news for us

That depends on the offense. If you do things the way we've typically done them, yeah I'd agree. But the Shanahan's approach makes a huge difference.
-
I get that. The problem is you want to give him credit for the good without accepting any blame for the bad. And using your logic, there would be plenty of that. It also helps to understand that an NFL quarterback's primary job isn't to be the offense himself, it's to get the ball to playmakers and let them do the work. This is again why wins and losses are a team stat, not an individual stat.
-
And yet you want to hold a runningback more responsible for losses than you do a quarterback.. Your position is totally inconsistent.
