Lord, no! Bryce has his own issues. He's a very limited quarterback, basically a Chad Pennington style system QB best suited to a run heavy WCO (which is pretty close to what we do). Can you win with that kind of QB? Sure, but you need a stacked roster on offense and an at least above average defense... preferably better if possible. The effort and brains it takes to build around a guy like that are things I'm not convinced we have right now.

He didn't track the ball, and definitely could have put more effort into the route at the end. May not have caught it, but could at least have contested and maybe saved an interception.

It ain't all Bryce. Legette definitely has some issues. Questionable effort on many plays is one of them.

She's not the only one saying that.

Outsmarting themselves... Legette ran what looked like a lazy route to me. He certainly wasn't tracking the ball well based on his body language.

Could have been if Legette ran his route a little more aggressively. You can debate whether that's more on Bryce or Legette, but the bottom line is that on plays involving Legette, bad things tend to happen.

I can't sign on to trading Hubbard while I believe he still isn't fully healthy (so can't be properly evaluated) and Dowdle is only on a one-year deal. Also don't trust in Brooks at all.

"Washed" was the first word that came to my mind as well. If he really is valuable as a mentor, keep him on as an Assistant QB Coach or something along those lines, but I feel like his days as a player are done.

Issues I have with Canales: - Poor offseason prep - Questionable depth chart management - May be "too nice" on personnel / staff decisions - Run play designs not as good as pass plays The middle two harken back to the Ron Rivera days. He has the same or similar issues.
