    This is kind of my fear with Tepper... What he should do is allow for a thorough head coaching search run by professionals. What I'm afraid he will do is hire the first hot name from the media that he cen bring aboard.

    Even if we do have a quality roster, we don't become a playoff team simply by dumping Rhule. A new staff will have to train players and tailor the roster to fit their schemes.

    Understood. I'll always wonder what would have happened if Tepper would have fired Marty first and paired Rivera with a better GM.

    One of the tweets mentioned that Rhule's insistence on guys "earning" positions hindered Fitterer's effort to sign Carlos Dunlap.

    McClover would make sense with regard to Burns, but what coach that's currently on staff would he have ties to? (he was here under Fox)

Could also be someone like AJ Klein, I suppose, though Boston would seem to make more sense.

    The coaching at the high school and college levels isn't what it used to be either. Other problem is some guys like to go for the big "highlight reel" hits to get them on Sportscenter. As often as not, it results in a sloppy attempt at a tackle.

    For the most part last week it was a McAdoo / Baker offense that occasionally included CMC.

    r Brian Daboll's offense vs Phil Snow's defense is a matchup that scares me...a lot
