There ya go... I know Sheena has her dentractors but she's the only one I've seen say anything.
-
Until there's something more, I'd agree.

Louis Riddick takes a look at the flipside...

Bad news in Washington...
-
Mentioned above, he could be posting an old picture of himself in the Panthers building because he actually is in the Panthers building. Still no confirmation anywhere though, so...
-
I've never been that big a fan of Collins as a safety.
-
Possible, though even if the picture isn't from today, it's still could signify something. That said, until we hear confirmation from known sources, I can't take the idea too seriously.
-
If Collins posted it himself that definitely could make things more interesting. And admittedly, showing up on a day when we're making roster cuts would kind of make sense. Still don't know how seriously to take it though

Sheena Quick responds... None of our usual reporters have said anything so I'm inclined to take it with a grain of salt until we hear something more substantial.
-
Is this accurate? I'm not familiar with the source and I couldn't pick Landon Collins out of a lineup so I don't know how seriously to take this.

Joe Thomas chimes in ..

What Will Have the Biggest Impact on our Offense?
Mr. Scot replied to coffee's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's honestly a tough question. My default answer would be the new OC but there are an awful lot of other moving parts in play here -
Shanahan just about always had the late Alex Gibbs on his staff. Not to speak ill of the dead, but Gibbs was a dirty mother.
-
For the record, It's not unusual for West Coast type offensive systems (like ours) to use cut blocking in their schemes. That said, I can't think of a specific example I saw this preseason.
-
That caught my eye as well

The NFL.com cuts tracker can be found here. NFL Roster Cuts Keep in mind this also lists players that were released prior to today.

... include at least one guy were familiar with. Basically, they chose no kicker over Santoso

Video of Kenny Robinson's hit + celebration vs. Kristian Wilkerson
Mr. Scot replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
Remember in our first preseason game, one of the Commanders defensive linemen (Young, I think; might have been Sweat) pulled up when he had an easy shot at Mayfield. -

I'd say also because there were several issues between the two teams during those practices. -

Part of the issue was whether he stood over him after the hit. Robinson claims he didn't but the video does kind of make it look like he did. -
The hit that injured Kayvon Thibodeaux has brought it back into public discussion... Several people are calling for this type of block to be banned (and for the player who did it to be punished) but offensive linemen like Andrew whitworth and Mark Schlereth are pushing back. Longtime Panther fans probably remember early 2003 when Kavika Pittman was taken out by Keenan McCardell using a similar block. People were livid about that at the time. Schlereth is correct though in saying that the block is legal (even if poorly executed in this particular case) and does indeed happen all over the league on any given Sunday. So what say you? Should cut blocking like this be banned or is this just an unfortunate incident?
