That happened back when "draft experts" were a rarity. Now there are tons of them, and probably a good 90% or more are better at it than McShay. You've got former GMs, scouts and personnel guys who have actually done the job now taking part in draft talk all over the internet and the airwaves. So with all that out there, what's the value of a guy with McShay's meager resume? I miss seeing Floyd Reese on ESPN myself. He was great. -
Todd McShay - Rhlue "won't be crying when the two sides part ways"

Pretty simple, honestly. McShay is basically saying the Panthers are an awful organization. I know there are some guys at ESPN who favor Matt Rhule -
What is the impetus for the “Keep Pounding” pushaway?
Mr. Scot replied to davos's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Seahawks have won a game or two. We could take inspiration from the 76 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, I suppose. -
Yeah, saw it. That's clearly Matt Rhule on the right. Guy on the left looks enough like Kuechly that I buy it.

Not playing. Might need to redo it. Edit: Nevermind. There we go.

And is doing so by plagiarizing a college football slogan -

Kyler Murray deal in Arizona getting very interesting.
Mr. Scot replied to NCTHFL0567's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm not yet convinced that Murray is worth that kind of money, especially after his playoff performance and his "I just wing it" comments.- 46 replies

Pickett is pretty much a prototypical WCO type quarterback. Willis, not so much. Accuracy issues don't really lend themselves to a timing and rhythm offense. Corral? I haven't looked at him enough to see but probably will soon. My sense is that he's probably also a WCO type. From what I know, I think Strong is probably more of a Coryell/longball type guy. Ridder too, I believe.

I was wondering what the hell was funny about that -

They'd hang on to Jimmy Clausen jerseys if they thought they could sell them. The team store is not an indicator of team direction. -

To be fair, Pickett doesn't appear to be either of those things. My issue with him has been that he strikes me that as a guy who puked in college and isn't necessarily going to get better. If we do pick him I will of course hope that I'm wrong. -

Trade for them now and you telegraph your draft plans. -

Insecurity -
Seriously though, how flat out stupid is this? Bad enough that you want to erase something that's been a big part of the fan culture, but for a replacement you offer up some generic bullsh-t that's already in use by a bunch of other teams. That's the kind of strategy that could be hatched only by an absolute idiot.

"The first thing I care about...is winning!" Yeah, sure Dave

Exactly. Maybe we should try "all in" next. (or perhaps "beat Duke")
